I have a brand new Whirlpool dishwasher #DU810SWPU4 - Model #. No instruction manual was left with me, so I want to be sure I'm using it correctly. When I run it and set the drying cycle to Heat - after it shuts off and I open it up, there is still water on the door and on some of the dishes. Is this correct? Jane Walker

The dishes are not clean when we run the wash cycle. It looks like the water flow from the top sprayer is NOT working. The door, when we open it, has undesolved soap stuck in globs on the top of the door. The top dishes are not clean and some of the botom dishes are not clean. We've run some clear washes to see if we can find the problem. The water flow looks suspect. Is it in the electronics or in the water mechanics. I called the repair guy who ususally comes out and says buy a new one! The re

I bought a used GE Triton XL d/w with no manual. It worked great but now it is not cleaning anything, when the cycle is over the soap cup is open but half of the soap is still inside of the cup. I opened the d/w during a cycle and the dishes are wet top and bottom racks so I know it's getting water but the dishes are still filthy. Why is the soap not working? It's like water is spraying everywhere but the door where the cup is!

Dishes and the dishwasher look dirty after they run, like it redistributed dirty water. The door is very dirty/filmy except right under the soap dispenser, like someone squirted dirty water on it but wiped right under the soap dispenser. If I run it a second time with vinegar it gets clean, but that is crazy, esp since it takes 2 1/2 hours a load. I have 2 of them and both are doing it. I have changed soaps, added more soap, used less soap, pre-rinsed dishes, put them in filthy, used jet-dry, no

When my dishwasher completes its cycle, there is powdered detergent left in the dispenser and the dishes aren't as clean as they use to be. This started happening after I ran a HI TEMP WASH with a SANI RINSE cycle. I'm thinking that either the detergent dispenser door is opening late or the water is not getting hot enough. To check the dispenser door, I left the door open and just poured powder into the dispenser compartment. This did not improve the cleaning.

When starting a wash cycle it pumps out the remaining water as usual. It fills normally but does not pump/wash the dishes. It continues to heat and when first noticed it seemed to have gone through the complete cycle but didn't wash. The detergent door had opened and the soap pack dropped out but it never dissolved. The dishes were extremely hot too. Is the same pump used to both drain the washer and wash the dishes?

Kude48fxbl - brand new out-of-the-box. When put through a test cycle after installing it, water poured out of the bottom left edge of the door. This was not associated with either the water input or the discharge hose, but rather seemed to come from the interior of the washer and out under the door. The door seemed well latched, and running it with some dishes in the bottom tray (not blocking the soap dispenser) didn't help.

Have a 2+year old LG LDF6810ST dishwasher that shows no error codes but is not cleaning like it used to. Have city water, do not leave excess food on dishes when loading, am only using powder after reading other tips about the use of gels. There is excess moisture in the tub and on dishes after the cycle. Does not appear to be drying as it previously did. Any ideas?

I own a KUDS01FLSS3 KitchenAid dishwasher. The lights on the control panel do not come on and a cycle can not be started. There is about an inch of water in the bottom of the dishwasher basin and it looks like the previous cycle did not complete. I have checked the wall outlet that the washer is plugged into and the washer is receiving power from the wall. And ideas? My next thought was to take the door off and check the power supply running to the door panel and control panel.

We recently installed a Kenmore dishwasher, Mfr Model# 13943. We have used the dishwasher approximately six times since Thanksgiving. I have a Bosch dishwasher she44c05uc/40 It is 3-4 years old. Recently I noticed that the cycle times have gotten much longer. Since then there is a sewer smell in the washer especially when starting a new cycle it comes out of the disposal. I'm wondering if the pump isn't heating the water hot enough. I've also noticed that the dishes aren't getting near as clean as they were before all this started. Especially stuck on food. It used to clean everything now dishes almost need rinsed.

I have a Bosch "Classic Electronic" dishwasher that has been in use for only 18 months. If it helps - SGU53E05AU/30 is marked on top of the door.. my problem is that on the last cycle, the water won't drain so I am left with lovely clean dishes but there is water up to the drawer line present and it won't drain until the next wash. I have cleaned all the filters and ensured the pipes are not obstructed. It is odd that it only does it on the last cycle. Could it be the microchip?

I have a fridigaire dishwasher PLD4555RFC0. The dishwasher now only cleans poorly if at all. The detergant used is powder and the detergant has been the same since purchasing the unit 3 years ago. Drying problem Hi Our 3-day old LG dishwasher is not able to dry our dishes. After the cycle is finished 2 hours later, I open the door to find that water is everywhere. As if the washer is skipping the dry sequence completely. The "vent" on the inside of the door doesn't seem to have an outlet--why is this a vent if nothing can escape? The owner's manual says to use a rinse aid to help drying. I don't believe in using band-aid's; something else is wrong. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks,

2 weeks ago, I had a plumber come and put in a new garbage diposer and since then somewhat old/dirty water seems to be sitting at the bottom after all cycles are done. I calle dhim back and he says that there is no problem in the plumbing but more with the pump. I even use the wt/dry vac and removed water and ran it but still comes back with water at the bottom. also the dishes smell like soap. Help!!!

The plumber did not make an air gap in the dishwasher drain hose when he reattached it to the new disposal. Look under your sink, does the hose (attached to the disposal) go down and through the cabinet? If so, that is definitely the issue. Simple ... GE 24 in. Profile PDW7800 Built-in Dishwasher

We are getting a grit on the dishes on the top rack. We have done many things to solve the problem. Running tang crystles, runing CLR through it, taking it apart to check for blockages, checking the impeller on the pump, blowing comprssed air through it, scrubbing the inside many times. The funny thing is it only happens about every third wash cycle or so. The upper spray arm is free with no obstruction. The dishes on the bottom rack are clean. We use Electosol and jet dry.
