I purchased a second hand Electrolux Dishlex DX403 with a kitchen. The dishwasher turns on when I turn the powerpoint on and makes a noise as if it is about to start. I attempt to press the buttons to set a mode and start it and it wont work, the buttons dont do anything. How can I fix this?

I have an Electrolux Dishlex DX303 Dishwasher. Recently it has been stopping early in the cycle and the display shows -10. The selected program is flashing. The cycle will restart by pressing the program button again but it no longers wash's right through the wash pe=rogram as it is meant to. I have a 10 year old Electrolux Dishlex Global 300. It doesn't complete a cycle, beeps many times then all lights go off and it stops. Then you cannot select a program to restart. It then beeps consistently throughout the day when not even in use.
