I just bought a used LG LDS 5811ST stainless steel built in dishwasher. The previous owner said he bought it 4 years ago. It's in great shape but doesn't work. It powers up but the water is not pumping into the dishwasher. The previous owner said that he thought it was the pump. He said he took it apart once and cleaned a bunch of crud out of some hoses and it worked for a while then started making funny noise and stopped. When i got it home i powered it up and connected water hose. It seems to

I have a Delonghi dishwasher, it's a stand alone, like a washing machine. The water inlet is connected to the hot water tap, normally used for a washing machine. When we first started using the dishwasher, we kept getting the E4 error message, we reduced the water inlet pressure by turning down the tap, that worked for a while. Just a while ago, we started getting the E4 error message again, not sure we can turn down the tap any further without cutting the water off completely. Do you have a

Not getting enough water flow into the dishwasher, suspect that a filter is clogged due to recent work on the waterline in the kitchen sink. Need to know where the filter might be located (on the dishwasher or on the intake valve before the connection to the dishwasher hose)? Also would I need to disconnect the water supply to pull out the dishwasher for access to such a filter.

You didn't specify a brand but most dishwashers don't have a water "filter." They may have an inlet screen at the water valve, which is typically located under the dishwasher. Generally, the lower front panel will have to be removed and you should ... Dishwashers

My dishwasher will not drain after cycling. I have check the drain hose connected to the disposal. All is in good order the hose is not cinked and the air hole is unblocked. Hi there, I have a Whirlpool Quite Partner 1 dishwasher. It was working fine until today the water would not drain. I detached the drain hose and it was clean as a whistle. When I had the drain hose off I ran hot water and it was draining through clean. What else could it be? I have no idea how to fix this. Thanks.

I have a built-in Bosch dishwasher SHU 4302 UC. It no longer drains the water out at the end of all the cycles. I have tried everything mentioned in the booklet (make sure water is hot, use the jet-dry stuff, make sure outflow hose doesn't allow water back in). I have to siphon out at least a good bucketful of water. (Also, only the regular wash cycle works, which is fine with me.)

Our Whirlpool KUDP01ILBS2 dishwasher isn't working like it used to. Dishes seem to be getting partially clean, they aren't getting dry at all and it seems they may be being rinsed/washed with dirty water. There is plenty of water in the machine when I interupt the cleaning cycle. I always run the hot water in the sink before I start the dishwasher so the first water into the dishwasher is as hot as possible. Also the sani-rinse light is flashing when the cycle "completes".

I have a Dishlex Global 500 dishwasher (DX500lWW*b). Woke up the other night to find water all over my kitchen floor. The hot water hose connector to the hot water tap split (bursted). I have a washer model 1805 (1800 PSI). Everything works but there is always leaking of water (sprays) when I use it. The leak is not from where the water hose connects to the washer, but where the black piece attached to the hose is connected to the body of the washer. I can still do a decent job of power washing, but am wondering if the leaking of water is reducing the power of the washer.

Yes, leaking water will reduce the pressure. Sounds like you need to replace the O-Ring inside the connections on the pump. This is where the pressure hose connects to the pump.
