Having problems with your Dishwashers ?

Hi I have a Blanco dishwasher BFDw8 which is having poor wash results in the top tray I have tried all the trouble shooting things in manual. Investigated further by opening door during wash cycle several times and discovered the top arm is not moving although water is still coming out of the arms. I did get a split pea particle out of the arm approx 2mm and have since had a mildly better wash and have used superior wash powder and rinse aid to try and help. Also have put a cleaner through di

  1. \015\012Check the water temperature. Should be 125 to 140 F.
    \015\012
  2. \015\012Check pump re-circulation., Listen, see if it sounds like it is spraying the water around with enough pressure.
    \015\012
  3. \015\012Check water level when the fill cycle has completed. Should be just under the heating element. If not, possibly need to replace the water inlet valve.
    \015\012
  4. \015\012Check the spray arm and pump cover for splits or leaks.
    \015\012
  5. \015\012Check to make sure dishwasher is draining after each cycle. There should only be a little water in the bottom of the tub.
    \015\012
  6. \015\012Make sure the dishes are loaded properly, or dishwasher is not overloaded.
    \015\012
  7. \015\012Possibly try a different detergent. Some liquid-gels will bubble and a pump cannot pump bubbles.
\015\012Scrape away large pieces of food, bones, pits, toothpicks, etc. Burned on food should be loosened before loading. Empty liquids from glasses and cups. Foods such as mustard, mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice and tomato products may cause discoloration of stainless steel and plastics if allowed to sit for a long period of time. Unless the dishwasher is to be operated at once, it is best to rinse off these food soils. Load racks so that large items do not prevent the detergent dispenser from opening. If the dishwasher drains into a food disposer, be sure disposer is completely empty before starting the dishwasher.

If your\015\012dishwasher has worked fine in the past but, suddenly, your dishes\015\012aren't clean after the dishwasher completes all cycles:

1) Check your water heater's temperature dial to be sure it hasn't been changed recently.

2)\015\012Be sure dishes haven't prevented the detergent dispenser from opening\015\012properly during the wash cycles or kept the spray arms from turning,\015\012the lower arm from rising, or the spray from reaching the upper rack's\015\012dishes.

3) During the\015\012wash cycle, listen to the spray arm spinning inside. If it seems to be\015\012spinning poorly, clean out the spray holes in the spray arm(s) with a\015\012stiff piece of wire; wait for the machine to cool, and then remove the\015\012spray arm(s) by unscrewing the hub cap and lifting the arm(s) off.

The spray arm, above the top rack, keeps unscrewing during the wash cycle. Just the arm comes off leaving a round plastic part attached to the top. This can be unscrewed and inside is a white 'washer'. The arm can be clipped back but comes off again in the next wash. The plastic 'washer' has to be turned over to allow re-attachment. Is a washer missing from inside?

My LG LDF7810ST dishwasher does not spray water from the middle or upper spray arms, therefore the dishes don't wash properly. Even when I ask for a top load only, the bottom spray arm is the only one moving (which I would expect that it shouldn't move at all since I've requested a top load only) I checked the spray arms as best I can to make sure that they're not clogged.

Hi, ^The GE dishwasher (PDW788000SS) will not fill in either "rinse only" or "normal wash" modes. The control panel lights up with all functions. After selecting rinse only or normal wash and pressing/holding the start/reset button down for several seconds to reset the unit the drain pump comes on for approx 90 seconds as advertised. Checked the float switch and there is no continuity in any position of the little switch arm and the switch arm has no spring on it. Seems like this is a faile
