I have a Craftsman 2700 psi pressure washer with a Briggs and Stratton 850 engine (80 year anniversary special addition) . It is about 2 years old and used very little and will not start. I filled it with fresh fuel and checked the oil. I also replaced the spark plug and air filter. I checked the fuel line thinking it may not be getting fuel, but there is no obstruction from the tank to the end of the fuel line. I am out of TS options short of taking it to a service center.

Hi. I have a Briggs & Stratton 2800PSI gas pressure washer. I can get it to start, but after about 5 min, then it quits. I have cleaned the carb, change oil, changed plug, new gas, cleaned/checked air filter. Nothing will keep it running. Wondering if it may be not enough water pressure, but would that cause it to stop like that? When it runs, it does a good job, but it stops just as you get going. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Assembly I recently purchased a pressure washer from Home Depot. It is rated at 3100 psi. It is a comet pump with a honda gas engine. The assembly instructions recommended that I remove the plug on the top of the pump and replace it with a vented plug that was provided. However, none of the other enclosed manuls talk about the vented plug. Am I reading the assembly insturctions correctly. Should there be a vented plug ?

HI your machine would have been delivered with a blanking plug in the pump. You will need to remove this and fit a vented pump or your pump will build up too much pressure inside. ... Comet BXD2527 Pressure Washer Pump

I have a Briggs & Stratton gas power washer. This is the 1st time this year that I have used it. I put in fresh gas, hooked up the water supply. The engine started and then quickly stopped. I had to release the water pressure in the hose before I could pull start the engine. The only way to keep the engine running is to hold down the spray nozzle trigger. Once that is released the pressure in the hose builds up and the engine stops.

Sounds like the unloader is not working correctly. Try replacing it and see what happens. ... Briggs & Stratton Prosumer 20324 Gas Pressure Washer
