Having problems with your Pressure Washers ?

How do we remove the pressure pump after we remove the screws? can you send the diagram?

Answers :

Depends on what pump you are removing. With the nature of the machine being in water all the time the pump could be just frozen onto the shaft. If this is the case you are going to want to spray wd-40 or another simular product on the shaft as much as possible and pry on each side with a crow bar. You could also have a pump that has a set-screw on the keyway, if this is the case you will see a slot on one side of the pump, you would have to slowly pull the engine over until you see the set screw. Usually the set screw is a allen screw that you would just have to remove and the pump will slide right off.

Low Pressure with no hose attached, pressure is good, attach hose without wand and pressure drops 50%. Have had pump apart 10 times, have checked bypass valve, have even removed bypass and filled passage way so water could not bypass wihout any change. Am down to thinking pump casting is cracked allowing bypassing to happen. Does each of the three piston chambers have a check valve so one piston is not pumping back into another piston chamber?

I have a Kenmore model 665.15835791 dishwasher. I suspect that some plastic packaging has clogged the pump. I've removed the lower sprayer and the circular plastic cover that is held in place with 8 torx head screws. I'm trying to remove the black circular object with a 1 inch hex counterhold held in place with a screw with a 1/4 inch hex head. I have a pressure washer with a Honda gcv190 engine. The motor runs great but there isn't any water pressure. I removed the manifold and pump and found some mineral deposits and cleaned everything out and while attempting to reinstall the pump on the crankshaft I noticed the key was missing. Upon further inspection it appears that the key was missing from the beginning or had sheared off and then disintegrated. (There were a lot of metal shavings in the pump shaft recess). I have a Husky gasoline pressure washer. The honda motor starts but stalls because the pressure by-pass (not the right term) doesn't seem to open and builds up pressure. I haven't tried to remove any parts yet. I think grit has got in but don't know for sure. The pump looks pretty simple and the part I want to remove for cleaning looks like a plastic hexagon nob. Will this access the by-pass or is it something else.

However, there's a pricey pre-measured container they want to make you buy. Anybody know how much oil goes in that pump?

My SGS55M72AU/65 does not get rid of its drain water, although that wee pump in the bottom is clearly working (which I could see after removing filters and pump cover). Had the Northstar 3000 psi Pressure Washer for 2 months and it started leaking oil from the pump during use. Took it to Northern and they are replacing the pump under warranty but said it was likely because I was using quick connects on my garden hose coupling and that was restricting the water flow making the pump overheat. They said never to use quick connects on the garden hose unless the opening is at least 5/8". Does anyone make such a quick connect? I hate having to screw the garden hose o

I have a 13 year old Siemens SE64630GB. It isn't cleaning items in the upper basket and I believe it's due to lack of water pressure in the upper spray arm leading to little or no rotation of the arm. Have cleaned out the drainage pump and removed and cleaned both the water feed pipe to the upper arm (a lot of gunk in there) and the spray arm itself (which also had blocked nozzles) - no apparent blockages now.
