I have a Generac pressure washer, model #01450-0, with a Honda 5hp motor. The motor runs fine, but the pressure hose pulsates as if the pump is intermittently making pressure, and the pressure out of the sprayer is about half of what it should be. A friend suggested replacing the seals in the unloader. I bought an unloader kit, replaced everything and it still runs the same. It will build a small amount of pressure, spray for a few seconds, then the pressure dropps to almost nothing. Any help ap

I recently replaced the water seals, V-packing & all six check valves in a CW-3504-4MGH pump on a MiTM 3504 pressure washer that had very low pressure. Usually this would fix most pressure problems on most machines, but in this case it had little to no effect. I suspect that the unloaded is the culprit in this case, but since I have had little experience in repairing unloaders (let alone adjusting them). I would appreciate feedback from anyone that has experience in this area. Thanks

I have a 4,000 psi, 4.5 gpm 45G cat pump powered by a 13 hp honda engine I can not seem to be able to adjust the unloader valve to give me pressure over 950 psi and even at lower pressures, the pump will not deliver consistant pressure without bouncing off to the relief stage and back into the tank Are unloader valves worth repairing, or should i look at just buying a new one my current thought is to buy an EZ start Pulsar

I would just purchase a new unloader valve, they usually aren't worth rebuilding. I would like to have a picture of the set up that you have, if you can send me a picture of the unloader region of the pump I can get you are price on a new one. email ... Honda Pressure Washer PSI 3000

I have a pressure washer with a faip 3 piston pump. the other day i was using it and it stopped unloading. i cleaned the unloader and it didn't help. I bought a new one and it still won't work. I e-mailed Ryobi and they will not respond. There were no instructions on installing and adjusting the unloader. Could you give me an idea how to install and set up the new unloader. Any help would be most appreciated.

I think your main problem is that the unloader valve needs to be lubricated. Use the very best water resistant bearing grease you can find. If you can e-mail me a pic of your unloader assembly I can try to explain how to set it up. [email protected] ... Honda Pressure Washers

We have a Karcher G2500VH pressure washer. If you start the engine with the trigger pulled on the spray wand it will run at full pressure until you release the trigger. after that, when you pull the trigger it will not have any more pressure than the water hose feeding it. Does it have an internal unloader valve? What is the part number?

I have a Craftsman power washer model 580 752020. When I start it up, turn on the switch the electric motor runs fine until I either close the trigger to the spray nozzle or press the trigger for power spray. The electric motor just shuts down, if I take my finger off the pressure and let the water run with no presssure the motor runs fine. My question is this. Is the capasitator on the electric motor the probable cause and is there a way to check out the capasitator to see if it is malfuncti

Troy-Bilt 2550 20293 pressure washer not producing pressure. Worked when last used 2 months ago. Pump pistons are moving up and down when engine is pulled through. Anything else I can do?

You replaced the unloaded valve. Are you positive you have the unloader screwed to pressure and not turned the opposite way? You will have no pressure if it is adjusted wrong. One other thing I have encountered is that the unloader has a ball bearing ... Pressure Washers

When I turn on the shop force 1750 electric power washer I get water pressure in intermittent time frames. I have a HD 2701 DR pressure washer that starts and runs fine and usually works fine the "first" time but if you let go of the trigger and then try to use it again you just get a trickle out of the end of the wand.
