Water Leak My dishwasher is an Ariston Advantage AF250: I have been told that internally its the same as a Hotpoint DF55. It intermittently leaks water onto the floor from the front at its base during use. At one time it ruined the motor which I had rewound and at the same time I made a new polystyrene float for the base pan overflow switch. All was well for months, but now its leaking again. I have blown through the tubes from the drain filter well to the pressure sensitive switch, but all

My trusty Bosch s510 Dishwasher which has been going strong for about 17 years (at least) has just decided not to empty itself. I noticed the bottom was full of water after a wash. I emptied all the water out by hand and presuming there is a blockage in the drain tried using a plunger to unblock it. I have since put it through another cycle and half way through water started leaking out of the front. At the end of the cycle the bottom of the dishwasher was again full of hot 'soapy' water. How can I shut off the water supply to the dishwasher? It fills slowly with water from the top (while not running), and then water spills out over the kitchen floor. While the bearing noise was gone, there remains a pumped water noise that is quieted by manually adding about 1/2 gallon of water within the machine. So I now believe the water level is low, possib

I set up a drip system years ago and now am looking to replace it (old, worn, leaks) but the problem is this-I can't push any fitting (be it connectors, tees, etc) onto the main hose. Both hose and fittings are 1/2''. The fittings in the original system were not near as difficult to use-I also tried hot water (fittings) and ice water (hose), nothing. I have a Briggs & Stratton gas power washer. This is the 1st time this year that I have used it. I put in fresh gas, hooked up the water supply. The engine started and then quickly stopped. I had to release the water pressure in the hose before I could pull start the engine. The only way to keep the engine running is to hold down the spray nozzle trigger. Once that is released the pressure in the hose builds up and the engine stops.

I just finished a service call for my 5312UC/UC12. This technician says that this is a repair that most technicians avoid because it takes a long time and costs alot and violated some sort of warranty. He recommend replacement after only 7 years!
