F70 fault cleared the drain valve which had a "button" from the screw holes on the side of the dishwasher - still the fault comes on and the machine runs even though its not turned on. One of the sites indicated the drain pan needed to be dried out but when I took off the kick panel could not see a drain pan.

Obviously the machine believes the drain cycle is not complete. It is running the drain pump until the level it "sees" is all the way down. My Bosch dishwasher is off but water continues to over fill base.I'm not using the sink. I've sucked the water out with a wet dry vac three times in the last 2 hours. I've also sucked the water out of the pan underneath the washer. The water is coming from the ''side hole'' not the drain hole.

Dishes are still dirty. I have used every kind of dishwasher aide, half loaded it and dishes are still dirty, I let the water run until very hot before starting the washer. The washer says you don't have to rinse but I do and they still come out dirty. Also black nasty stuff comes up from my garbage disposer.

Kitchenaid dishwasher - small pieces of food are left on otherwise clean dishes. Water level comes to about 1 inch below heater coil. I ran it without dishes (or soap) and added about a quart of water so that level came to about 1/4 inch below heater and that's when I noticed food pieces on drain surfaces (nylon filter under bottom spray arm unit and circular plastic "trap" surrounding it). Spray arms holes are clear and water is hot.

It sounds as if you figured the solution out. The holes in the spray arm(s) get plugged by small debris, (tooth picks, seeds, bits of plastic like candy wrappers, etc) and the water does not reach the dishes to wash and rinse effective ... Dishwashers

It appears to finish it's cycle, as far as the dishes are clean - however there is clean water that has pooled on the bottom. you can hear the water fresh coming in - the pump comes on for a few minutes, drains some of the water and shuts off - the pump comes on again - drains some of the water and turns off. I turned the water going into the dishwater off - the pump ran for a few minutes - drained some of the water and then just sits there with the red power light on - there is still the same

Bad smell This is more of a general question. When I run the dishwasher there is a bad smell as it fills with water. It comes out of the sink/garbage disposal. I have cleaned out the line that comes from the garbage disposal to the drain and that doesn't stop the smell. Is there a line that needs to be cleaned from the dishwasher to the sink or how can I fix this issue? My dishwasher, at the drain, has water standing and it smells. I think it is there from condensation as the dishwasher, unknow
