ASKO Overfill protection tripped

\015 Hi, we have an Asko D3120 dishwasher that had a blocked pipe and the overfill protection was tripped. I've cleared the pipe and the water immediately pumped out of it. Now when I plug it back in the pump is still running and can't be stopped. Pushing the power button on the machine has no impact nor do any of the other buttons. The only way to stop it is to unplug it from the mains. I've run Asko and they tell me it requires a service techinician at a cost of $95 per 15 minutes plus parts. Since I know the problem was a blocked pipe and now it's not blocked I'm hesitant to pay a technician to come and 'reset' the machine. Does anyone know how I can reset it myself or what needs to happen for it to register that the problem is now resolved?\015\012Drain function runs continously unless circuit breaker turned off. Indicator for cycle flashes and even if you turn the dishwasher off with power button the drain function contines to rum until power is disconnected at breaker for a few hours. Asko suggested too much soap and had me run a cycle with vinegar. Next load of dishes did the same exact thing.\015

Answers :

Remove the backpanel of the machine, and look if there is water at the bottom of the machine. If so, use a towel or so to dry up the water. This should solve the prob.
My 3120 was not 'installed' (running standalone in laundry during renovations). Angling the unit forward to 30-40 degrees caused the water to be expelled from under the unit and instantly stopped the pump - cycles working again no problems.

I have an Asko D3230 which has activated what is probably the overfilling protection and the pump continues to run. The overfill activated because we had to pull out the machine to get to something and when putting back in there was a kink in the hose. Then we ran a cycle and the water wouldn't drain out. There is now no kink and we have removed all the water we can find. It is now completely empty but the pump continues to run even when the dishwasher is switched off, e.g. the off switch an

Asko Dishwasher starts the cycle by pumping out as it should. But does not stop pumping nor advances. If I click it forward manually it starts to fill and then before overfilling goes into pump out without washing then just repeats this. Pressure switch tubes and air trap chambers are clean and no leak to trip spill switch. I'm guessing It is either the timer or faulty pressure switch any clues ???
