I have a Viking dishwasher made by Asko. It is less than 6 months old. Today I had a problem with my disposal (water not draining through it and leaking under the sink) and ran the dishwasher, which cleaned/dried the dishes fine. BUT, since the water was not properly draining from the disposal, apparently the dishwasher was not draining properly either. A repairman came to fix the disposal before I knew about the dishwasher issue. Now, the dishwasher won't turn off "draining mode" - button pu

My asko d3250 thinks the drain hose is blocked. but when i pour water in the dishwasher to see if the water is being drained, the dishwasher is draining properly. Yet the dishwasher after it has drained the water, will shutoff and start flashing the Large Pot icon (drain hose is blocked error code). Is there a sensor that is faulty?

Yes, it sounds like it is to me. I'm not able to pull your model up on my data base,if I could I would be able to tell you where it is located. I would assume that it's located either inside the pump or close to it. Sorry I couldn't be more help. ... Asko Dishwashers

We have an Asko 1385 dishwasher. It drains via the same drain into which our kitchen sinks drain. We had a blockage there. When that was fixed we noticed that the dishwasher does not drain properly and does not fill at all yet it seems to go through its cycle. I am wondering if a float switch or some such is stuck but I cannot find one in the bottom of the tub!

It is a plastic circular float in the bottom of the tub. With an exact model # we can point you in the right direction. Thanks!! ... Asko 1385 Dishwasher

Dishwasher keeps running I have a Bosche dishwasher and the water keeps running. As long as we run it and don't stop it, the pump will continue to drain about every 3 minutes. The water just keeps running though. If we open it to empty the dishes, the cycle will stop. But the water keeps running, filling the tub, and then overflows, flooding the kitchen and drains through our wood floors to the basement below. Our ASKO seems to have a similar problem. I started the dishwasher, and the water ke

Asko dishwasher Rotu emailed with some helpful info, so here is the additional you requested. The dishwasher continues to fill as long as the water is turned on to the appliance and then it will drain. For some reason this cycle continues. The repairman said it needed a new control board. Our Asko D1796 dishwasher has all lights flashing and is displaying a F2 message, which according to the good book means there is too much water in the machine. I have followed the instructions for a normal inlet time but the indicators will not change. Is it trying to tell me the Drain Pump is dead? A new drain pump was fitted three years ago. There is no eidence of water in the machine. Can anyone help? Thanks. Alan

Hi Alan,\015\012\015\012The F2 on Asko means it's sensed an overfill, that in itself though can be provoked by a couple of thing's. First, check for blockage at the end of the drain hose where it connect's to your household plumbing, be it under the ... Asko D1796FI Built-in Dishwasher

Our Asko D3112 was not draining, so we had maintenance drain the hoses to clear any blockage but it did nothing. They said it must be our pump not working. I ran one more cycle to see if things went back to normal, however now our pump won't shut off. We have to unplug the machine just to get the pump to stop. We had a repair technician come to look at the dishwasher and he says that it is a problem with the control panel/computer system. Something tells me it is a merely a loose wire and that w

Plastic Pieces We purchased our ASKO 1385 dishwasher 7-8 years ago. Over the years, I have found "small square, thin, pieces of gray plastic" inside. Where are these coming from? Also, we have replaced the drain pump 2 years ago and looks like we'll be replaced the main pump within the next few days as no water is going through. We are looking at paying big $$$ for that pump. Almost half as much as purchasing a new dishwasher. Is this a common problem?

Yes, I have the same problem and it is the upper bearing rack, not the pump impeller. The new bearing kit is $30.00 (another is available for $123.00-the same!!). ... Asko 1385 Dishwasher
