Having problems with your Asko 24 in. D3530FI Built-in Dishwasher ?

Hi, I have an ASKO D3250 dishwasher and it keeps stopping during the wash cycle and flashing the heavy pots and pots symbol simultaneously. I tried cleaning the filter basket and found a little plastic part floating in there that has printed on it PP-T20. I don't know where this piece goes or if it's even the culprit. There is a little bit of water not draining from the filter area when I unscrew the outer filter basket, I cleaned it out, but when I re-run it, it still stops and gives the dual f

Answers :

The part is a cap for the drain pump. You can put it back into position by removing the filters and placing it to the left of where the circular filter would be positioned. The part goes in with the part numbers on the bottom facing down. When positioned it should not interfere with the threads for the circular filter. You may have to scoop out the water in the bottom, to have a better look at how it is positioned. It is always normal to have a little bit of water in the bottom filter area (below the silver screen filter).
Pots and Pans and Heavy Wash (Flashing) indicates "The drain is blocked."

My dishwasher (Kenmore Elite 665) doesn't use up all the detergent in the detergent cup - it always leaves a little behind at the end of the cycle. the dishes don't get quite as clean any more, either. I'm guessing that the water pressure may be low, and that it may be due to the same problem. Is there a screen-type filter that filters the incoming water, before it enters th

Hi! My bosch SHE43 built in dishwasher is about 2.5 yrs old, dishes aren't getting clean anymore. We have *really* hard water so I use the max rinse agent, but doesn't help. I clean the little canister filter with each wash, and just washed off that grate in the bottom. I also just cleaned the trap under the sink, but it didn't look bad at all. The problem is a grit left on glasses and things just not getting all the way clean. When I remove the grate at the bottom, there's a bit of water

I have a Kenmore Quietguard dishwasher, only a few years old, and it won't drain. I pulled it out and checked the drain hose, could not find a clog. I took the basket and sprayer out, couldn't find any clogs there. It seems to be making a little bit of a different noise but does still clean the dishes. Does the motor pump the water out and could that be the problem?

I have the two drawer dishwasher. It's about 10 years old. The top drawer continues to work OK but for the last three attempts when I run the bottom drawer water gets out into the drip pan below and gives the F1 signal. I can dry the drip pan out and clear the F1 signal so the top drawer works. But running the bottom drawer causes water to leak again with the resultant F1 signal. Kitchenaid dishwasher - small pieces of food are left on otherwise clean dishes. Water level comes to about 1 inch below heater coil.
