Try tipping it over to get the water out of the base that is activating the flood switch, removing the kick panel and drying with towel and hair dryer. If there is no majour leak you should be back in action.

I have a Viking dishwasher made by Asko. It is less than 6 months old. Today I had a problem with my disposal (water not draining through it and leaking under the sink) and ran the dishwasher, which cleaned/dried the dishes fine. BUT, since the water was not properly draining from the disposal, apparently the dishwasher was not draining properly either. A repairman came to fix the disposal before I knew about the dishwasher issue. Now, the dishwasher won't turn off "draining mode" - button pu

I have the "rinse" error code on my kitchenaid double drawer dishwasher kudd01dppa1. I've turned off the power, then it worked for one load and the code reappeared on both drawers again. What should be a next step? it says in the manual that the "rinse" error code means that something happened to the flood switch...? I recently had the e4 error code on my new world dw60 dishwasher. I have since opened it up and replaced the heater element, which appears to have resolved that issue. However, in the process of doing this I incorrectly installed the flood switch back into place, meaning that it was in its closed position (i.e. the position it would be when activated by a flooded base) when I went to turn the dishwasher back on. I have since opened it back up and correctly installed the flood switch, but I ca
