Cycle time Just moved in, started the Bosch dishwashe that appears to be less than two years old, left for one-hour and came back to find the wash cycle still going; hasn't cycled in thirty minutes since I've returned. Is this normal? What is the standard cycle time?

My dishwasher skips the final drain cycle. The lines are all clean and there is no clog. It drains just fine in the beginning of the wash cycle. Every time I do a load of dishes I have to run the full cycle, then leave the machine open for 3-4 hours and start the cycle again and listen for the drain at the beginning of the wash to drain the machine from the initial wash and stop the machine after it is done draining so it won't fill up again. Sometimes we have to unplug it and wait about an hour

Our Miele Incognito dishwasher was installed in our new home in August, 2005. The wash/dry cycle has always taken a very long time - 5-6 hours is now the standard. So we have gotten accustomed to only running the dishwasher at over night. However, for the last few months, we've noticed the dishwasher is no longer drying well - we also need to finish drying the plates, glasses and silverware. Do you recommend we have a service call?

Yes, absolutely. The timer motor is not functioning right for it to stay on like that. Could be other control issues too. ... Miele 24 in. Incognito G843SCVi Built-In Dishwasher

New dishwasher (Beko 2542F slimline model). Put it on for 1st time last night -when I got up this morning, the cycle which should have taken just over 2 hours hadn't finished. There's soapy water in the bottom of the machine which hasn't drained and the "wash" light is still on. Looks like the dishes are clean but hasn't moved onto the rinse/dry part. Followed instruction in manual to drain it (hold start stop button till lights flash and should drain in 45 sec) but nothing happened.

I have a Sears Kenmore Elite Ultra dishwasher 665.1315 model. For the last 3 weeks, it keeps having the clean light blinking 6 times pause then 1 blink and pause and repeats cycle again. I have turned off the breaker...I have reset by pressing the heated dry and normal wash until all lights are flashing. It then completes some type of cycle and looks ok. When I opened the door, steam came out and all was hot inside. However, once I try any new wash cycle, it seems to wash but after 1-2 hours and

Frigidaire dishwasher won't end cycle - will run on and on for hours. Sometimes it cycles through, usually it just endlessly washes and rinses. I have to CANCEL the cycle, which causes the dishwasher to empty and run a few RINSE ONLY cycles (which are consistent, cycle time wise) to rinse the soap off of the dishes. Also, the door for the soap seems to stick - how long into the cycle before the soap door should open? Also, does opening the washer during it's cycle (to add more dishes) change or

Dishwasher DU1100. Odd behaviour during cycle: "Washing" light goes off and sound of washing stops. "Normal" light starts blinking and "soak and scour" light comes on (it was off before). No sound from washer. This persists for at least 10 hours. After that, the lights go off. Is this normal behaviour? It would appear tha the drying cycle did not go.

I have a Smeg DWD1SSE dishwasher, that has decided to start and stop on it's own during the wash cycle. We have to restart it at least three times during the 30 min short wash, and it very rarely gets to finish a whole cycle. I have stripped it down to make sure that there is no moisture on the main PCB behind the buttons, which there isn't. I think it looks as though the control board is faulty. If anyone can help or back my thoughts up, I would be very great full. Thanks.

I have a couple of problems. Firstly, the auto programme now shows a cycle time of 199mins but actually takes much longer than that to complete - more like 4 hours. On the quick (!) wash cycle the time is 97 minutes, whereas it should be less than 30 mins. Second problem, the detergent box flap won't stay shut when loading, so I have to put the tablet in loose in the bottom. Could the 2 problems be related?

There is an issue with the machine not heating properly, it could be the control panel or the thermostat, The flap not staying shut is not connected to this. ... Dishwashers

I have model #FGBD243KF1, Gallery 24" stainless. The wash cycle is taking almost 2 hours. Should it take this long? Also, when switching cycles during the wash time the motor whines a bit. Is this also something to live with or should I get it checked out? Thanks.

When dishwasher is set to begin, sensor takes very long period of time. Cycles are longer than minutes indicated. Dishwasher fills with water but does not wash. Water then drains as though cycle is complete and moves to next cycle. Then the process continues. When cycle for drying is reached, much heat is given and occasionally it smells as though there is burning. A 82 minute procedure turns into hours.

Our Miele G975SC dishwasher has developed a problem - it starts a wash or rinse cycle as normal - it pumps out, then fills with new water and starts washing as expected. I have a Bosch (SHU5302UC/U12). The washer often takes 2 or more hours to run. Sometimes it gets stuck for a long time part way through (e.g. just sits at "43"). Other times, it gets stuck at 1 and won't stop on its own. The latest thing is 2 dots have appeared on the display that I've never seen before. For example, instead of "43", it reads "4.3." Eventually it gets to "C.L." but does not stop running. Also, its been making very strange noises during part of the wash cycle.

I have just moved into a new house with an Asko Dishwasher. It is not working. I program it, the icon for the cycle I have chosen lights up in red, I press start, that lights up in red, the water runs in for about 30 seconds and then nothing more happens. This happens on every wash cycle that I attempt to use. It does not appear to be on time delay as that icon does not light up.
