Dishlex Global 300 Fills and then stops. faint electrical smell after a while . Checked heating element that I replaced 8 months ago, seems OK. It has 29X? ohms resistance and looks OK. (I am not sure of the reading on my meter but the element is not fused.) Pumps water in and out OK No blockage in pump or filters Water level looks to be low on filling, only part covers the heating element. I tried instruction book on changing water level using the "Eco" button no response as indicated in

Even though I turned up the thermostat on my hot water heater, the water in the dishwasher does not seem to be hot enough. Mold is growing in the food grinder and even though I choose the heat dry option, the dishes are never dry. Yet, when I touched the element, I got burned. The dishes are not getting clean because it doesn't seem to be hot enough to cut the grease.

I have a JDB1090AWS about 3 years old. We noticed a smell and found cutting boards and plastic cups melted. Machine was off. Had to turn off the breaker. Checked both leads to element & have power even with machine off. Not sure if it could be the limiting thermostat; I assume that is to shut the heat down when it gets too hot. Element is on though when it shouldn't be to begin with. I did have to tighten the water supply. Had some water underneath, but all wires seemed dry. Any tests I should t

I have a Whirlpool DU1048 that started out with a blinking clean light. I reset the dishwasher by pressing the heated dry and normal buttons twice. That worked the clean light stopped blinking. The problem now is the dishwasher seem to be stuck in the wash cycle. I finally have to turn it off after over an hour washing. Is this possibly a heating element problem? is that user replaceable?

I just replaced the heating element and it was working fine for about a week. Yesterday, the soak and scour light (which I've never even used) started blinking constantly. The dishwasher, Model GU2400XTPB3, won't let me even enter the reset code. I need to know if it's something we can fix without paying for another part/service by finding a manual. Thank you.
