I have a whirlpool dishwasher type 280-2 and the detergent door will not open automatically anymore. The compartment is thoroughly cleaned and wont even open if its empty so gook or over filling is not the problem. I believe I probably knocked off some part that makes it open at the proper time. If someone could explain how the process works and/or submits a picture of the parts, I could perhaps deduce what is missing. Thank you in advance as this is driving me nuts!

I have a Beko DWD5410W dishwasher. It has been working well for a couple of years now. Last week is stopped during a wash cycle and now when you switch it on, it fills with water to the top of the filters (as normal?) and stops. Nothing further happens no matter how long I wait unless I switch the machine to drain mode. Do you have any idea what the problem could be or how I can go about investigating further? Many thanks in anticipation

After the wash has been completed, when I open the door, the bottom of the dishwasher is full of water. It does not spill out, but the only way to empty it is to use a bowl and manually remove it. There is no apparent waste blocking the exit nor any object. Do you know what the problem could be? Many thanks in advance!!! Ms Eribenne

I have checked & the waste is not blocked. Have had a good feel around the bottom (internally) & there do not seem to be any obstructions. Can anyone help? Could it be the "control module" if there is such a thing? Many Thanks

Miele dishwasher makes grinding noise when turned on, there is a light on front next to inlet/drain. So I poured some boiling water into the dishwasher and then left it turned on and could feel the boiling water coming out of the drain hose so I am assuming it is an inlet problem, as it will drain but will not fill or otherwise work. There are a few small cracks in the outer hose of he inlet hose just below the grey box thing, could that be enough to cause the problem? They are only small so I di

The start/pause button beeps when pressed to start a program and the machine gives a beep in response and appears to start its initial sump emptying phase but stops within 1-2 secs. Have checked pump and found no problem but start time is so short that in cannot have sensed a problem in the pumping circuit. If I persist in holding the start/pause button in, it can be released after the initial sump emptying phase (2-3 mins) and phase 1 of the wash program goes to completion. At the end of the
