Hobart AM14/1 free standing dishwasher with booster. Booster will not heat up beyond 41C. All three heating elements check ok with Ohm meter. High limit not tripped. Temperature screw up at maximum, when you turn the screw, you can hear thermostat click at lower temperature on and off. When turning on main power for dishwasher, heater in dishwasher works fine, but no relays click in the booster tank area. Have not checked for power at booster, have checked all fuses with meter and are ok. Ple

I have a haier dishwasher model WQP12 AFM, I've replaced the wash pump motor and drain pump (they had been damaged with water after last repair person didn't put widget around drain hose which split and water accumulated on bottom). It well for about two weeks, then it would not go through it's cycle and I noted water not heating up. Have checked element with meter, thats fine, I replaced timersince it wasn't going through its cycle and that has not changed anything. Any suggustions?? Cheers

Dishlex Global 300 Fills and then stops. faint electrical smell after a while . Checked heating element that I replaced 8 months ago, seems OK. It has 29X? ohms resistance and looks OK. (I am not sure of the reading on my meter but the element is not fused.) Pumps water in and out OK No blockage in pump or filters Water level looks to be low on filling, only part covers the heating element. I tried instruction book on changing water level using the "Eco" button no response as indicated in

You need to open the front cover and check the wiring for any burnt wire, this happen sometimes,if that does not solve then it't either pcb or electric motor causing this smell. You would be better off with a new one then. ... Dishwashers

My Beko D3422 FS was washing normally and the residual current device tripped approximately half way through the cycle. I have unplugged the dishwasher and checked the plug socket with various other appliances. None have tripped the RCD. I have stripped the Dishwasher to look for any disconnected terminals or shorted wires and cannot find anything obviously burnt or any signs of shorting. The 13amp fuse in the dishwasher plug is fine. Are there any components I can test or replace which wouldgi

I have a GE Profile Dishwasher, Model# PDW7880J03SS that doesnt dry the dishes. I pulled out the dishwasher and checked the heating element for continuity with my ohm meter and got a closed circuit reading. I tested the voltage going to the heating element and got a 124V reading. However the dishes are still soaking wet after the drying cycle. What am i missing, what else could be wrong with the machine that the dishes won't dry at all?

Hi\015\012\015\012Check if the dishwasher is draining and filling properly is water temperature. Water temperature should be between 120 and 140 F. If water is not hot enough then heating element has gone bad, to check the element you'll ... Dishwashers

I have the Whirlpool washer model # wtw5300vw2. What is the accurate amount of water this washer should use PER FULL LOAD/COMPLETE CYCLE on the super load with NO extra rinse? Reason being... Google isn't helping me here. I check my mention before and after I washed it says I am using 145 gallons of water PER COMPLETE CYCLE. Is that right, or no? That seems very high to me. I called the water company to have them check our meter. The meter is working fine. Guess we was comparing it with our

Kenmore dishwasher 587.15163401 won't fill. I checked the float switch with my multimeter and it's working properly. It's registering zero when I touch the terminals and 1 when I activate the switch. On this particular washer, how do I access the water inlet valve to check it for debris and also to check the solenoids? Also on this particular washer, how do I access the drain valve and solenoid. Can you tell me if this is a single direction motor or reversing motor. As I understand

The problem was the water fill valve. When set to Ohms, the multimeter never would read zero indicating a problem with the water fill valve. I replaced the part and it works now. Be sure to turn your water off under the sink before taking it off t ... Dishwashers

My Maytag Model # mdb7130aww will not fill with water. I did the auto function test and it completed without any codes but when the water valve was supposed to come on, it didn't. Everything else functioned. I tested the resistance of the valve and my multimeter went from 1 to .90 or so when I checked the terminals. Also, this problem is intermittent and when I check the voltage to the valve it reads around 70 unplugged and 120 when its plugged up to the valve. Does this mean the water cont

The dishwasher is cutting out the mains rcd switch when running? This happened during an intensive wash now as soon as you switch the on switch it trips the cut out! I have checked the both pumps for earth or neutral leaks and also the the heater but all seem fine. I only have a multi meter at my disposal so therefore cannot do a proper earth leak check. the machine is approx four years old and is not used very often.

I notice a blue wire goes to the float switch which I already checked, there are 2 black wires one of which runs towards the back and cant see where

My dishwasher made some really grindy, crunchy sounds the last time it worked. I unscrewed the float and checked for debris in it, nothing there. When I got that off, there was a circular black fan-type thing under it(the motor??), that spins around and seems to be held in place with only one screw. I tried to access underneath that, and it doesn't want to do anything but spin around. How do I remove that to check underneath?? I don't want to break it. I put it all back together and tried run

GE Dishwasher model PDW8200J03BB stopped draining. Removed the drain pump, checked with Voltmeter and there is resistance on ohms X10 of about 3. The flap is in place so water isn't shooting back into the sump inlet. Replaced the sump inlet about 6 months ago because it was deteriorated due to hard water. Pump worked fine after that. Checked drain hoses and air gap. Was able to blow water through. Pump only trickles water out at air gap. Does the pump need replaced?
