I have a Bosch SMU2046UC/14 dishwasher that makes some noise but will not start the wash cycle. I found that the noise was from the timer motor by removing the front of the door. The timer continues to run and but only advances until half way through the wash cycle where it stops permanently. Is this a problem with the timer or could something else be causing this problem.

HI. The timer motor mechanism regulates the length of time power is to be routed to each component. If the timer motor does not advance properly, it can result in a wide range of problems. Common symptoms will usually include sticking in a cycle(fail ... Bosch 24 in. SMU40 Built-in Dishwasher

We have a Bosch dishwasher model SHU5315UC/U06. When we ran a "Regular Wash" the dishwasher ran continuously and the timer did not count-down. None of the Delicate or Rinse and Hold buttons responded. The only button that works is the "Scrub Wash", but when we ran it did the same thing. Ran continuously and the timer moved one minute after running about five minutes. I look forward to your solution. Thank you. Jerry

My 5 year old bosch dishwasher cycles to one minute and then cycles forever and ever with very soapy water in the bottom. After a very long time, the water is out of the dishwasher but soap residue is left on the dishes and the bottom ot the dishwasher. We are presently using only 1/2 teaspoon of detergent (Finish brand). I have had a repairman here to look at it, but he didn't seem confident that it was a timer issue and even though I have paid the exorbitant service call fee, I am not sure I wa

I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)
