Bosch Shu43C02UC dishwasher fills with water but the washing won't start. As the filling nears complete, a double clicking noise occurs to start the washing motor but nothing happens. When dishwasher is set to begin, sensor takes very long period of time. Cycles are longer than minutes indicated. Dishwasher fills with water but does not wash. Water then drains as though cycle is complete and moves to next cycle. Then the process continues. When cycle for drying is reached, much heat is given and occasionally it smells as though there is burning. A 82 minute procedure turns into hours.

I have a 1999 bosch SHU 4300 dishwasher given to me. It worked great for about two weeks. Now it takes for ever *3-4 hours* to complete a cycle (if it does). I have opened the door to see it filled with sudsy soap after this long. I have checked the hoses and they are not kinked. Once the cycle of cleaning is over, If I reset it manually, it will rinse the dishes and empty just fine. But I have to manually get the dishwasher to advance to the rinse and dry cycle every time now.

My Bosch SHE45M built-in dishwasher is suddenly taking an extra-long time to go through its cycles. On Regular wash it will countdown from 117 minutes to 31 minutes. When it hits that time it resets to 87 minutes, then counts down to 1 minute and will not stop. I have to hit the cancel-reset buttons for it to drain. I have tried to do a hard reset by cutting the power at the breaker for 20 minutes or more. I'm interested in potential parts and a description of how to fit it! Thanks in advance.

I have a Bosch (SHU5302UC/U12). The washer often takes 2 or more hours to run. Sometimes it gets stuck for a long time part way through (e.g. just sits at "43"). Other times, it gets stuck at 1 and won't stop on its own. The latest thing is 2 dots have appeared on the display that I've never seen before. For example, instead of "43", it reads "4.3." Eventually it gets to "C.L." but does not stop running. Also, its been making very strange noises during part of the wash cycle.

I have a new Frigidaire FDB1050RE diswasher. I ran it for the first time set on normal wash and pressing both the Hi-temp wash and heat dry button. This cycle is supposed to take a total of 89 minutes to complete including the drying cycle. After 89 minutes it was still in the wash cycle so I cancelled it to preserve sanity. In the instruction manual it states that the water temperature must be above 120°F. Our building's water heating unit is set at 110°F. Why there is a lower temperature

It should still work pretty well but you probably can't use the high temp wash because it will take too long for the dishwasher to heat up the water enough to satisfy the high temp washer thermostat. If the thermostat's calibrated closing temperature ... Frigidaire Dishwashers

We have a Bosch Diswasher Model SHX-46A05UC that we purchased three years ago. We have loved it! This week it started running a long long time and won't finish on its own. Also the santitized cycle is not working. We live in a remote mountain town and our local appliance repair man refuses to work on it because it is a Bosche and he hates them. Please help! Can we do something on our own before having to pull the dishwasher and take it out of town for repair? Thank you...Jackie

I have a SHU43C05UC/22 Bosch dishwasher that runs fine till it gets to wash then it seems to stick there. the timer times down to 1 and it stays there for a really long time. it doesn't appear that the washer ever gets out of the wash cycle. when you stop/open the door there is still soapy water in the tub. You can cancel the program and it will drain the tub fine then you have to select rinse and hold to clean out the soap out.

Hi I have a Bosch sms 4012 dishwasher that was in our house when we bought it around 14yrs ago.It really has been an excellent appliance but for the past few months the control knobs have become 'sticky'and relatively hard to turn. Now the dishwasher is not completing the cycle properly by stopping intermittantly, taking almost double the cycle time to complete and not draining properly. Do you think this is just a blockage in the drainage system or something much more complex requiring a technic

Spray arms are moving, it fills and drains, detergent is dispensed. I have checked the inlet and outlet pipes, the impellor and non-return-valve in the sump, checked the matrix is clear, checked to anti-flood float and switch and replaced the relays on the PCB. Selecting a rinse cycle will complete. Dishes are warm and wet rather

SMEG STX dishwasher does not complete the wash cycle, stopping after 3 minutes on all cycles displaying error code E1. The machine seems to start with the usual whirring noise but then stops after 3 minutes without pumping in water. Tricity Bendix DH090 water valve closes too early. Insufficient water causes program to stop before first heating cycle. If I switch off, open the machine & pour an extra pint of water in, shut the door & switch on again the wash takes place and completes perfectly to specification. OK so the problem seems to be that level detector No 1 switches off the water inlet valve early and level detector No 2 (apparently) halts the cycle since it detects insufficient water in the machine. I cannot see t

I have a couple of problems. Firstly, the auto programme now shows a cycle time of 199mins but actually takes much longer than that to complete - more like 4 hours. On the quick (!) wash cycle the time is 97 minutes, whereas it should be less than 30 mins. Second problem, the detergent box flap won't stay shut when loading, so I have to put the tablet in loose in the bottom. Could the 2 problems be related?

There is an issue with the machine not heating properly, it could be the control panel or the thermostat, The flap not staying shut is not connected to this. ... Dishwashers
