How do I replace the heating element for a Bosch SHU53 dishwasher
\015 My Bosch dishwasher SHU5316UC/U12, installed 3/4/03, had the heating water element go out. I ordered another one from Bosch, but it did not come with installation instructions. The only installation instructions the company sent me were how to install the dishwasher under the counter. I took the dishwasher out, turned it over, looked for an obvious kick plate removal or something. But not wanting to break anything, do you have any hints on how to remove and install a heater in this unit?\015
Are you sure its the element, the control boards on them get bad soldering joints and the you get the impression that the element is bad, but its the solder joint that controls the element that goes bad....you can resolder that

A couple of forums state that it may be the pcb behind the timer/selector switch.
