Loose dirt and a lot of watter won't drain when cycle completed

\015 The dishwasher appears to operate properly except that there is a lot of water left in the bottom that is filled with loose dirt. This dirt then gets attached to the new load of dishes. The dishes don't come out clean.\015

One possible solution to your problem could be as follows... Could have been little regular soap or something put in that made it suds up causing it not to drain. Pouring vegetable oil into the dish washer tub will remove the suds. After running vegetable oil for about 5 minutes, pour 2 cups of vinegar in to the tub and run it on the hottest longest cycle with no dishes in it. This will clean the residue out and what ever "gunk" may be in the internal parts. Use Only powder detergent. No gel and No tabs. These 2 cause a build-up over a period of time of use and reduce the performance of your machine especially in a Bosch. This should take care of your problem.

EDW5500DSS wont completely drain water Okay so now that my dishwasher runs, when it finishes a cycle it has a nice puddle of water at the bottom that never drains completely out. I am assuming its a relay or something because I looked for a floating switch (did not find), I can hear a pump sound as if it wants to pump the remaining water out, but, it doesn't. I really want to solve this problem soon so I can order the new door seal and needed part together. Checked the line out and of course i

Dishwasher wont fill with water. just before it stopped filling i was turning the dial (a lot) between the wash cycles back and forth to attempt to get it to fill and drain (I didn't let it go through a cycle). We also removed the hose from the machine as it had split and replaced it and we had the machine tilted on it's side. the dial still clicks round but it sounds like the pump is going and it doesn't seem to be filling with water. Hi there,\015\012\015\012The long cycle times indicate a fault in either the water heater circuits or the timer. \015\012\015\012I'm assuming from the model number you are in the US and therefore on a 120v supply. The heater i ... Bosch SHU9955UC Built-in Dishwasher

After cycle is complete, water (not clean) sits at the bottom of the washer but I still unload the dishes and then turn the cycle dial around again - going past all the water heating and filling and washing - and land on the drain cycle, it will drain. The diswasher will drain completely after the drain cycle is completed. It will then immediately begin to fill again despite no additional cycles being requested. I can hear the fill cycle begin. I can prevent the filling by opening the door slightly or by moving the float plunger up and away from the microswitch that signals to fill the bottom of the washer with water. Is there an adjustment on the float or on the length of the float plunger?

I could see that water was pumping out the clear drain pipe but there was still about an inch of standing water in the bottom. Any thoughts as to what part has failed. Does the system use a water level switch or a timed drain cycle to determine when the water has pumped out. If it is a timed cycle could a slow drain cause the problem. Thank you
