Having problems with your Bosch Dishwashers ?

Bosch S9GT1B not taking water

\015 Hello,\015\012I have a problem with my dishwasher. It's a bosch economicstar. It takes no water in, tap is on, no kinks in lead, it just stopped taking water. It does go through the program normally and does try to pump the water through the arms. It also drains the water perfectly well. I used it for the last week by adding water 3 or 4 times per cycle whenever I heard it sucking water for the cleaning arms. I opened the left side of the machine, where the water inlet/outlet is. I wanted to check whether the waterlock was broke so I disconnected the water inlet hose from the big seethrough reservoir and switched the machine on. After pumping out the remaining water, therewas water coming from the inlet tube. I reconnected the inlet hose and switched it on again after a rset. Now it did work fine. I switched it off, reset the machine and switched it on, no water again. I repeated this, and after disconnecting the inlet hose it worked agsin. Unfortunately only once... Any advice???\015

Hi :) We have a Bosch slimline dishwasher type SRS56A02 GB/08 - it doesn't draw in water - the timer counts down but nothing happens. We checked these pages and cleaned the filters on the inlet water line but no change :( I saw that it might be the inlet water valve - is this easy to get to - do we need to take off panels? if so, is there a manual available please? Over the past week or so it had got noiser - it was at its quietest while the water was draining out of the machine.

Bosch slimline dishwasher SRS560. Unit has had this fault for a while, now going a bit mouldy so keen to repair it. Displays following Symptoms 1) Firstly empty motor drains water. This appears to be fine as I can hear the gurgling of the plug. 2) Then takes water from inlet to fill internal tank. I can hear the water entering the tank, and tap pressure indicates that water is being taken in. 3) The unit then sits there and does nothing for 25 mins until programme ends. I've

My Bosch dishwasher is taking hours (at least 3 - maybe more) to complete a cycle. There is gummy, yucky stuff building up inside - sorta pinkish brownish. Could the water not be hot enough? A couple of months ago we installed an on-demand hot water heater and I wonder if that could have anythig to do with it. I've tried running the hot water in the sink first but that doesn't help. Any ideas

If your on demand heater is one of the small ones that mounts under the sink, it will not flow enough water to fill your dishwasher. the dishwasher is waiting for the water level to fill before it starts washing. your bosch will heat its own wat ... Bosch SHX46A07UC Built-in Dishwasher

I have a Bosch dishwasher, model #SHU43C02UC/14, which has stopped working - no water enters the inside nor is there any drain cycle - just nothing. At the same time, I had to have the new control board put in as part of the Bosch recall. The tech comes out, puts in the new board - still nothing. He says something is wrong with the board even though the problem existed before the new board was installed. He takes everything back to his shop and tells me he's trying to contact Bosch tech support

Hello, my Bosch Classixx dishwasher SGS43E42EU/21 has me stumped. It starts by taking in water but when "filled" pumps out for a couple of seconds then refills for say 10 seconds more before another 2 or 3 seconds of pumping out. This cycle continues for ages without starting to wash. I've tried various things: - checked the Auto Stop valve isn't being activated by leakage (removing the polystyrene float and bottom tray makes no difference - there's no leak) - the valve seems to operate it

I have a Bosch dishwasher (SMI5072), bought in 2005 second-hand but working OK. It has always been a little slow to get going, and I had initially thought the clockwork program dial was getting stuck. Then I concluded that it had something to do with the filling up process, and I thought it must be because the water was rather cold and paid no more attention to it. This has meant that it seemingly takes ages to get through a cycle. Yesterday I put it on, left it and got on with some work. An h

My Bosch dishwasher has several problems: 1) Water doesn't completely drain out and dishwasher kind-of smells when I open it -- I do keep the filter very clean. 2) The dishwasher takes HOURS to go through one load, no matter what the time says on the display and no matter what type of cycle you choose -- quick, delicate or regular. 3) The red display often displays something that looks like "2h" at the beginning of the cycle. 4) The place where you put the detergent doesn't shut.

My bosch dishwasher, one month old, has the active light flashing and the reset button won't reset it when I push it. A friend that was over opened the door when it was running because she can with hers, but ever since then, I had to take the water out and the active light is flashing and the wash light is lite. I hold the reset button for 5 seconds and then I shut it off for about 5 minutes, but when I turn it back on, the same things are happening
