Bosch SHX Dishwasher keeps beeping when it is finished.
\015 Bosch SHX43C05UC Dishwasher keeps beeping when it is finished until the door is opened. It is so annoying. How do you disconnect it.It does not have a digital display. Only 5 buttons. On/off, Power scrub, Regular wash, Delicate, and Rinse and Hold.\015
If\015\012you wish to eliminate or reduce the volume of the end of cycle beep you\015\012can do so by powering off the unit and turning back on while holding\015\012the right button “Cancel/Reset”. The beep has 3 volumes levels and\015\012silent, press the right “Cancel/Reset” button to cycle through the\015\012settings. Power the unit back off to save you setting.
Use the On/Off button instead. You can either disable the signal or here is how to change the volume of your "beeps" per the Owner's Manual: Cycle Completion Signal This feature is a tone that sounds when when your Bosch dishwasher finishes washing and drying your dishes, and is available ONLY on Top Control models. You can either disable the tone, or you can set it at one of three volumes (dishwashers with this feature leave our factory with the tone set on the middle volume). Changing the Cycle Completion Signal Volume 1. Open the dishwasher door far enough to expose the control buttons. 2. Press and hold down the right-most of the two buttons labelled "Cancel Drain", as shown in Figure 34, then press and hold the On/Off button. When the light on the "Cancel Drain" button you are pressing illuminates, and the tone begins to sound, release both buttons. 3. Press the "Cancel Drain" button you previously pressed until the tone is at the desired volume, or until it is silent. If your dishwasher has an LED display it will also show a "1", "2", or "3" for the volume levels and a 0 when the tone is disabled. 4. Press the On/Off Button. 5. Close the dishwasher door. The Cycle Completion Signal is now set, and you may wash your dishes as usual.

When I press the start button, Bosch dishwasher (model SHY56A 05UC) just keep running the motor pumping the water out of dishwasher, irrespective of: 1) the wash cycle it is on, 2) whether the door is closed or open, 3) whether I cancel drain cycle, as told by Bosch Cust Svc in following steps: - "Cancel Drain" by pressing 'Quick Wash' and 'Regular Wash' buttons together for a minute until it shows 0* - Shut power off for a minute and wait for a minute - Restart on Quick Cycle.
