Having problems with your Bosch Dishwashers ?

I have a Bosch dish washer model SHX 43 M 0 ZUC / 48 FD 8709 00169 The dish washer is about 1 1/4 years old and was installed by a plumber as part of a Home Depot kitchen remodel. The problem is draining. The quick wash does not drain at the end of the wash. The regular wash sometimes drain and sometimes does not. The auto wash does drain. The lack of draining does not cause problems with the regular wash cycle. I checked the drain hose re the instruction manual and it is correctly installed.

Hi, I had the same problem with another brand. Yes your pump is running but the drain to the pump is clogged. Mine was mineral deposits and a food jar label. You will need to remove a few screws, and the bottom spinner, and the screen/guard . there will bee stuff in there, mine was (older) and loaded. Mine had a plastic flap thing designed to keep large debris from getting to the pump while letting the water drain. Fairly easy fix, especially the second time. Most likely the screws will be Torx type buy a set (screwdriver type) if you don't have them already. Be carfull to note what screws go where and the orentation and order of anything you remove. You can do it. good luck, chuckb

Have SHU43C and have had no problems with it. We usually run it on the Quick Wash cycle, but ran it on the Regular Wash cycle yesterday because the glasses seemed to be coming out spotty. After it ran, there were no lights on the display like there usually are. The washer had run and the dishes were clean, but it has not drained completely. There is still about an inch of water in the bottom, despite removing and checking both the Large Object Trap and Fine Filter (neither which were clogged

When washing dishes, the washer drains okay at the end of the cycle. However, ir seems that for some reason in the mornings we are finding water in the bottom of the dishwasher--sometimes so much that some has leaked out to the floor. When the drain cycle is turned on, the water goes out okay? Any advice?

My dishwasher skips the final drain cycle. The lines are all clean and there is no clog. It drains just fine in the beginning of the wash cycle. Every time I do a load of dishes I have to run the full cycle, then leave the machine open for 3-4 hours and start the cycle again and listen for the drain at the beginning of the wash to drain the machine from the initial wash and stop the machine after it is done draining so it won't fill up again. Sometimes we have to unplug it and wait about an hour

Our dishwasher seems to be stuck in drain mode. My daughter put the wrong kind of soap in it. She accidently put Regular dish washing soap in rather than machine dish washing soap. We've got all the suds out. Seems to drain water just fine. However we cant seem to get it to add water. Does the soap have anything to do with it? Anything I can do from my end? Please Advise. Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard - will not drain at end of cycle. After cycle is complete, water (not clean) sits at the bottom of the washer but I still unload the dishes and then turn the cycle dial around again - going past all the water heating and filling and washing - and land on the drain cycle, it will drain. Any ideas why it will not drain when I let a cycle run, but will drain once I cycle it through to the drain option?

When starting a wash cycle it pumps out the remaining water as usual. It fills normally but does not pump/wash the dishes. It continues to heat and when first noticed it seemed to have gone through the complete cycle but didn't wash. The detergent door had opened and the soap pack dropped out but it never dissolved. The dishes were extremely hot too. Is the same pump used to both drain the washer and wash the dishes?

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working?
