Having problems with your Bosch Dishwashers ?

Bosch dishwasher model SHV66A. New in 2004. Has worked well since then, but for last couple weeks something's up. Dishes aren't clean. Residue remains on everything. Food looks caked on & dried to plates. Silverware a little better but not much. Tried running a couple cycles with vinegar, no help. Took out strainers, etc. on bottom of washer & cleaned out; no help. Just ran a cycle now - - opened midway and it appeared the arms were both spinning. Also, water seemed warm (maybe not super

Hi

If you are observing that the dishes are\015\012not clean, then you'll need to follow certain steps to be sure where exactly\015\012the issue. First thing to check for is\015\012the detergent cup and spray arms. Check if the dishwasher's spray arms are\015\012working fine and all the holes of the arms are clear. Now try using a different\015\012detergent like gel or liquid based detergent to see if it helps.
\015\012
\015\012Dishes are left unclean when the dishwasher is not filling in properly or when\015\012the water pressure is low. Check for water pressure and water inlet valve. The\015\012water inlet valve if faulty will draw very little or no water. However, if you\015\012observe that water pressure is fine and there is no issue with the Fill valve\015\012then check whether the dishwasher is draining. If it's not draining then see if\015\012the drain hose is plugged or clogged. If drain hose is fine and the dishwasher\015\012is still not draining then there is some issue with the drain pump or drain\015\012filter. To check this you'll need to disassemble the dishwasher and trace back\015\012the drain hose to a pump, remove the drain hose from pump and clean the debris\015\012from the pump and filter. Make sure you have lots of towels as there would be a\015\012lot of water coming out from the pump.

\015\012\015\012

Next thing to check if the dishwasher is\015\012draining and filling properly is water temperature. Water temperature should be\015\012between 120 and 140 F. If water is not hot enough then heating element has gone\015\012bad, to check the element you'll need a multimeter. Use the multimeter and\015\012check if the Rx1 reading on the meter shows reading between 1500 (1.5K) ohms\015\012and 2400 (2.4K) ohms, if not the heating element has died.
\015\012\015\012

Hope this helps... Please post back for any\015\012further assistance.

Detergent dispenser door Whirlpool DU7400 won't open. I tested 300109 ACTUATOR resistance and it is closed. I ran washer and saw the actuator receives a current several times during the complete wash cycle. How else can I test? I notice the lever on the Acutator is quite floppy. Should it be stiff? Also the dispenser door does pop open if pushed from behind so that seems OK? Does anyone have the actual testing procedure for this problem? Thanks for anyone's help!

I have a Bosch dishwasher, stainless steel front- with buttons on the inside top( same as display, and the washing cycle won't start. Water seems to be running into the washer, as I can hear it, but the cycle never starts. Recently, I had clogged garbage disposer issue that has been resolved. The dish washer drains into the disposer, and I had free standing water left behind in the washer for 2days during this time.. Could this be the issue? Can you help me figure out this problem? Thanks!!

Frigidaire FDB520RHB Dishwashers : We bought this dishwasher about 3 months ago. Today I ran the washer before I left to do errands and when I returned, I believe the washer had finished its cycle. But about an hour later, I noticed it had started up on its own? It then proceeded to run for almost 3 hours before my husband canceled the cycle. We were kind of waiting to see if it would stop on its own, which is why we let it go so long. I think it usually takes about 1 1/2-2 hours to wash. Could

I have the Whirlpool washer model # wtw5300vw2. What is the accurate amount of water this washer should use PER FULL LOAD/COMPLETE CYCLE on the super load with NO extra rinse? Reason being... Turn water on then actuate wand trigger. Pressure washer leaks when wand trigger is actuated and has very low pressure/flow output. After releasing trigger the pressure cycles on - off at approx 1 second interval.
