GE Profile dishwasher heating element will not shut off

\015 After wash cycle the heating element stays on. Even after resetting the wash control it stays on. I was only able to turn it off by shutting off the breaker. It appears to be stuck in the on position. Is there a relay/switch/temp sensor that could be malfunctioning that would cause this?\015

Sounds like the timer assembly must have stuck on the dry cycle. I'd call a tech before you have a fire.

I have a GE Profile Dishwasher, Model# PDW7880J03SS that doesnt dry the dishes. I pulled out the dishwasher and checked the heating element for continuity with my ohm meter and got a closed circuit reading. I tested the voltage going to the heating element and got a 124V reading. However the dishes are still soaking wet after the drying cycle. What am i missing, what else could be wrong with the machine that the dishes won't dry at all?

Called support and were told to master restart- shut the power off for 15 minutes. Did and now flashing "27". Cannot find a code for that and neither could support without sending out a repairman.
