Having problems with your Bosch Dishwashers ?

We have a Bosch Model SKT5102GB/07 and the problem is as follows; we load the dirty washing and start the washing process, the machine then goes through the full cycle of wash. Once finished you open the door and notice that the washing is still dirty and a large pool of water is laying in the bottom of the machine. We have had an independent engineer look at the machine and he has advised that the pump needs changing. Look forward to your reply, thank you. Regards Michael Ballard.

\015\012http://www.repairclinic.com/0088_9_1.asp#Level1_4
If your\015\012washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably\015\012clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can\015\012get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If\015\012the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose\015\012that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in\015\012the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item\015\012out.

To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the\015\012washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose\015\012that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using\015\012needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the\015\012port.

Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from\015\012below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum\015\012shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need\015\012special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance\015\012repair technician to do the job.

If the drain line isn't\015\012plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to\015\012be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to\015\012replace the pump.

Dishlex DX450 has been working OK for years - suddenly not washing - white deposits and cutlery looks greasy - but machine clean and all filters and arms clear of debris. Have removed pumps and hoses - all clean - no obvious problems. Seems to complete a full cycle - but the problem is consistent every wash - independent of the dishes. Welcome any insights - thank you, Richard

Our dishwasher is only 4 months old. Sometimes there will be small particles of food left on some of the plates. Also when we wash glasses in this machine they are cloudy or dirty looking.

Hello, There are several reasons that the food can be left on the plates. If the washer filter is plugged (partially) then the food particles can remain in the tub and be re-deposited. This can also happen with a dirty sump. According to the ... Kenmore 13742 / 13744 / 13749 Built-in Dishwasher

Glasses int he top rack of my kitchenaid dishwasher don;t get clean. they finish the run spotted and covered in what looks like baked on dirty dishwater. dishes in the lower rack look ok, but the silverware is always dirty, too. i figure it's one of two things - either the top sprayer isn't working, or the machines doesn't drain the dirty water well enough. or maybe it's something else - cycle regulator? the machine is about 4 years old. thanks

I have an Ariston LS245 dishwasher, have just had the pump replaced, as it had shorted out, due to water in the bottom tray where the water detection float is, also a new drain hose fitted. Have just run a wash and after running a while, presumably to the end of the rinse, wash and dry cycle, then one of the cycle phase lights, the one for 'soak' blinks constantly. I switched the machine off and had a look to see if a wash had been done, the dishes look clean. In the book it says that if one

Noisy pump This is supposedly the quietest washing machine. It is until the pump comes into operation. It pumps incessantly for up to ten minutes before the spin operates and it is extremely noisy. Dirty dishes We have a built-in SMEG machine and it washes 75% of the dishes perfectly. FDW60 dishwasher Hi My dishwasher is about 15 months old and the problem I have is that it seems to stay on pump and the Ecco45 light is flashing.  A repair company looked at the machine and said that the motor looked like it was leaking and water was getting in the bottom setting off the micro-switch.  He contacted Hotpoint who fitted a new motor today at a cost of £89.85.  Went to use dishwasher tonight and we still have the same problem.  The dishwasher started the washing programme for about
