My sink got clogged and now my bosch dishwasher SHU43C05UC wont fill with water. I read on line that it most likely is the float is stuck and to access the front kickplate needs to be removed. Is there a diagnostic test that I can do that will display on the LED to make sure that this is the problem. How involved is it to unstick the float. Can it be done without moving the dishwasher and just working from the kickplate area?

Bosch Dishwasher I have a stainless steel Bosch dishwasher, I made the "mistake" to try to see if I could fix the jammed handle from the door. I have a Bosch SHX46A05UC14 dishwasher. The dishwasher is in a new home I just purchased. I tried to run the dishwasher on a normal cycle. However, when I push POWER and NORMAL CYCLE it makes a buzzing noise...and that's it. I opened the dishwasher and on the base of the dishwasher there was a screen that could be removed. I noticed that there was still some anti-freeze fluid in there (because the house was winterized). Could there be a simple solution to this problem?

Bosch dishwasher Over the weekend my drains backed up into the dishwasher. After cleaning the drains I ran the dishwasher 3 times. Under the screen there is still about an inch of water. I never noticed this before because I never removed the screen before. Can you tell me if this is normal or is there a problem with the dishwasher. The water in the little area below the screen is clean.

My Bosch dishwasher has been failing to clean my dishes for over a month now. My dishes have a chalky film on them, my glassware is cloudy, and my stainless utensils are dingy--handwashing these items does not remove the film. The model number of the dishwasher is SH16805UC. I have tested my water softener system and that is functioning properly. My Rinse Agent dispenser is full (I use Jet Dry). I cleaned the dishwasher twice with Jet Dry brand cleaner. I tried putting a 1/4 cup of Borax in

I have a Bosch Dishwasher, Model SHE46C06UC. No mater what cycle I start it in, it simply activates the drain and continues to run without ever starting. Within the last week prior to the dishwasher not working, I noticed a low hum/vibration emitting from the dishwasher. I've clean out the screen and drain filter, removed the pump cover to check for any debris. I've manually added water and it does drain. Additionally, the drain cycle continues to operate even with the door open.

First thing you may want to check is the door switch. You can pull it off and measure the resistance with an ohmmeter. If you get good reading while pushed in and none while switch button is released, then it is a good start. Next, you may want ... Dishwashers
