Having problems with your Bosch SHU3036UC Dishwasher ?

Dear sir In an attempt to dislodge a blockage of my sewer line using Draino and a plunger some of the Drano ended up in the dishwasher and now the dishwasher will not run. My dishwasher is a SHU3036UC/U12. When starting the unit up it empties the unit but the cycle newer ends, in other words the timer does not advance to the next cycle, I have determined that the timer motor works by removing it from the unit and supplying it with power. One thought is, can the water level switch be stuck in

Hi
Check this video and clean the drain pump assembly:

After this if the issue returns then it seems to be a problem with the float switch assembly that is bad and should be replaced. Float assembly is found inside the dishwasher's tub, on the bottom. The water that fills your dishwasher lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may interfere with your dishwasher's filling and/or draining ability. Use your voltmeter to test the switch. Set the device to the ohms setting x 1. Take each probe and touch them to one switch terminal each. This should produce a reading of either zero or infinity. Continue to touch the probes to the terminals, and press down on the switch's button. The reading should change to the opposite extreme. If your switch fails either of these tests, you should replace it. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Bosch dishwasher, Model SMU 7056, UC 09, FD 7309. My older unit has operated flawlessly for years. Two days ago it started to "stall" in one cycle and not progress to the next, e.g., stayed in the wash cycle and would not move on to rinse. In addition the heat generated in the machine was way below normal. A repairman told me that if the water doesn't get hot enough, the unit will not move on to the next cycle. I always use the "Regular Wash" option, but tried other options such as 'Economy

My dishwasher has power but does not turn on to any cycle when the control knob is in that position. It was adding water and starting to wash, but not going through the whole cycle and not rinsing and drying. Now it has water stuck in it. I hear sounds underneath like it's trying to go to the next cycle (a clicking noise), but then it doesn't. I put a new timer in it, but it was doing the same thing before that.

I own the Siemans SL34A006UC dishwasher which had the recall repair completed. Now it doesn't work right. The unit goes through any of the cleaning choices but when it comes time to drain, the unit stops for a few seconds, swishes water for a couple seconds, stops again, then swishes for a couple seconds, stops and then goes back in to regular cleaning mode until the timer reaches zero. At each drain cycle, it does the same thing earlier mentioned 3 times in a row, then back to washing. The unit

Dishwasher Fault Hi, My dishwasher is a Diplomat ADP8322 (which i think is a rebadged whirlpool unit) & has been playing up recently. When you start a cycle it is fine for a minute or so then it starts beeping, the rinse light comes on & the light next to the start button flashes 11 times, pauses then repeats. I have read online that this flashing relates to what the fault is, but i cannot find out what fault the 11 flashes relate to. The first time this happened i cleaned out all of the filters

Dishwasher Normally, after the dishwasher cleans the load, it displays green light next to clean. Once the door is opened, the light goes off an dishwasher is ready for next load. But from few days, after opening the dishwasher door, the clean light does not go off, it remains lit. Dishwasher doe snot reset for next cycle. So, I have to go in the basement and trip the main power to dishwasher. That resets the dishwasher. This needs to be done before each cycle. Not sure how to resolve the issue.

I have a Bosch SHU53513UC/U12 dishwasher. My initial problem is that the washer smells bad after a cycle and I've noticed some water sitting in the bottom of the unit. After running the test again, it only gets as high as 1.15A and manual says it should reach 11A. What should I do next?

Hi there I've got a Miele G572 dishwasher that works perfectly, except that it trips the circuit breaker when it tries to fill with water. The heating works, the timer advances, the spary arms rotate and it drains well. It is a second-hand unit that worked for about 3/4 of the first cycle, then it tripped the earth leakage detector. Our GE dishwasher (5 yrs old, Model GLD4250L00CS) only fills with water half way when the unit is started. The inlet valve was replaced with a new one, but that did not solve the problem. When started, the dishwasher fill cycle runs for 41 seconds before the wash cycle begins. Repair workers told us we probably need a new ECU (Electronic Computer Unit). My questions are: Is 41 seconds the correct time for the fill cycle for our model? What else could be the reason for the unit not filling pr
