Having problems with your Bosch SHU4006 Dishwasher ?

Dishwasher stalls I have a Bosch dishwasher model # SHU4006UC/U06. The dial stops after going through one cycle and the dishwasher continues to run that cycle and will not advance unless we manually advance the dial. After advancing the dial the dishwasher will stall until we have manually advanced the dial until reaching the "9 o'clock" position. It will then continue until the dry cycle is complete. Thanks!! I have the same problem. I took out the timer control and spraid it with contact clean

If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:

\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012Water-heating cycle\015\012\015\012Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:

\015\012
    \015\012
  • On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.

    \015\012
  • On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.

\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012\015\012Timer\015\012\015\012Timers don't often fail. But if every other part of the dishwasher seems to be working properly and the timer knob seems to be stuck in one place--doing one function continuously--the timer may be at fault. Dishwasher timers can't be repaired. If yours is defective, replace it.

I have an old (not sure what year, 80s?) Kitchen Aid energy saver V Custom by Hobart dishwasher. We opened the dishwasher in the middle of a cycle and now cannot get it to re-start. When we lock it back up and push our normal buttons (Low Energy and Energy Saver/Dry Heat Off) or any other combination of buttons, the dial does not turn automatically and the cycle does not continue. I have also tried advancing the dial manually and still, nothing happens. I have even tried advancing it all the

I have a 1999 bosch SHU 4300 dishwasher given to me. It worked great for about two weeks. Now it takes for ever *3-4 hours* to complete a cycle (if it does). I have opened the door to see it filled with sudsy soap after this long. I have checked the hoses and they are not kinked. Once the cycle of cleaning is over, If I reset it manually, it will rinse the dishes and empty just fine. But I have to manually get the dishwasher to advance to the rinse and dry cycle every time now.

If dial is advanced manually, some cold water is produced; dishwasher tablet is released but not dissovlved. All rotor arms and water intake areas are free of obstacles and blockage (as far as we can see). Any ideas?

Dishwasher works fine except that after the drying cycle, water slowly builds up in the bottom of the dishwasher. It did this a few years ago for several months, but then it stopped doing it altogether. I did nothing to fix it. Now it's started doing it again. I run the dial around to a point where it drains, let the water drain and then turn it back to off before the drying cycle begins.

Hello, my Hoover D7610 dishwasher has developed a problem, I would appreciate your advice. On starting a wash it appears to be working OK through what I believe to be a rinse cycle but then after about 20 minutes water pours out from the bottom of the door. Manually clicking the timer-programer forward stops the leaking but the machine needs manual advancement except for the last 2 cycles when the timer seems to work OK. After the 1st cycle there is no more water leaking from the machine but all

We can't find our owner's manual. We bought a Siemens dishwasher in 2003. We just interrupted the drying cycle and now the dishwasher won't close all the way and the LED display is off, but if we push the on/off button, it starts a new wash cycle. We don't want to let it run because we're afraid of flooding. Advice?

Recently there's been a white coating on dishes. Has to be scrubbed off manually or soaked in a vinegar/water solution. I flushed out the rotating arms to be sure water flows thru & it does. Checked bottom filter & basket...both clean. Twice used "finish" cleaner for dishwashers in the scrub cycle as directed. Turned off during drying cycle and now there is water across the bottom of the dishwasher. Next? Thanks for any help. Rosemary

Hotpoint Model HDA 3500N 10 BB Unit is only about a year old. The dial does not move. I noticed it when the washer was on for more than 3 hours and saw that the dial was still in the middle of the wash cycle. I then turned it to the rince cycle which operated there (not moving) until I manually moved it to dry. Did not move from there either. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I have a GU1500XTLB1, type-575-0 Whirlpool Gold dishwasher. For the last couple of weeks I've been getting the control lock on. I got the manual out, I hold the air dry button and it clears. My problem is now when I turn the machine on dosen't matter which cycle I hit (pots and pans, normal, or quick wash) it runs for about 5 minutes and it goes into a mode with the timer having lines going horizontal with the air dry button lit up and rinse button lit up. It sounds like it starts the cycle

Drying problem Hi Our 3-day old LG dishwasher is not able to dry our dishes. After the cycle is finished 2 hours later, I open the door to find that water is everywhere. As if the washer is skipping the dry sequence completely. The "vent" on the inside of the door doesn't seem to have an outlet--why is this a vent if nothing can escape? The owner's manual says to use a rinse aid to help drying. I don't believe in using band-aid's; something else is wrong. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks,
