Having problems with your Bosch SHU9915UC Dishwasher ?
Wash doesn't go through its full cycle, then will not drain. or cycle keeps on going
Hello, \015\012\015\012Welcome to FixYa. \015\012\015\012**What I`m about to share applies to All B/S/H/ dishwashers. That includes Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau and Siemens.**\015\012\015\012\015\012Based on your description I know what the problem is, though you may not like it. I would still start by checking your water inlet temperature, the unit must be connected to a "hot" water supply line. Try running the hot water at your sink tap to insure the cold water is out of the lines just before you turn on the dishwasher. \015\012\015\012That is just a suggestion out of courtesy however...\015\012\015\012If it is what I suspect, the control, this won't make any difference but it's worth a try. If on the other hand the water is good and hot entering the machine, you likely have an issue with the control as I alluded to.\015\012\015\012The reason your dishwasher never completes a cycle is the control has detected a heating error. Here`s the most likely reason why it has detected the error...\015\012\015\012Even if your home water supply appears hot, it's not hot enough and must be heated by the dishwasher to insure a proper clean and dry. \015\012\015\012The issue with your dishwasher likely lye`s within`the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable ). This is why it runs forever unless you "stop" it or by pressing the two buttons for "cancel".\015\012\015\012To repair your unit It will require you to remove the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board. This will be one of the pins from the heater relay, hence the unit runs on and on ( because it can`t heat to advance or until canceled ) trying to heat the water.\015\012\015\012**Further to this, if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...although Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on there behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)**\015\012\015\012**Please disconnect the power before attempting any service to the dishwasher. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this service, call a local pro, preferably one familiar with Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau, to service your machine.**\015\012\015\012Hope this answer`s your question's, let me know if I can assist you further. Thank`s for visiting "fixya" for your repair inquiries. \015\012\015\012Please take a moment and rate this solution to it's helpfulness to you and leave a testimony if you're satisfied.\015\012\015\012Good luck.\015\012\015\012macmarkus :)
Bosch dishwashers from early this decade (around 2002) had an issue with motherboards going bad. I've replaced many Bosch built during that era. Try killing the electric supply at the your breaker box overnight. Maybe, just maybe, this may reset the computer.
Hope this helps.

My trusty Bosch s510 Dishwasher which has been going strong for about 17 years (at least) has just decided not to empty itself. I noticed the bottom was full of water after a wash. I emptied all the water out by hand and presuming there is a blockage in the drain tried using a plunger to unblock it. I have since put it through another cycle and half way through water started leaking out of the front. At the end of the cycle the bottom of the dishwasher was again full of hot 'soapy' water. If th

My dishwasher skips the final drain cycle. The lines are all clean and there is no clog. It drains just fine in the beginning of the wash cycle. Every time I do a load of dishes I have to run the full cycle, then leave the machine open for 3-4 hours and start the cycle again and listen for the drain at the beginning of the wash to drain the machine from the initial wash and stop the machine after it is done draining so it won't fill up again. Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard - will not drain at end of cycle. After cycle is complete, water (not clean) sits at the bottom of the washer but I still unload the dishes and then turn the cycle dial around again - going past all the water heating and filling and washing - and land on the drain cycle, it will drain. Any ideas why it will not drain when I let a cycle run, but will drain once I cycle it through to the drain option?

Yes I have a whirlpool DU1345XTVB1 dishwasher. Just got in July. After each wash cycle the dishes are not dry. I have been using Finish gelpacs w/jetdry & also have a off brand drying agent in reservior to help dry dishes. The water temperature is set pretty hot & washer is draining good. I have tried checking wash cycle a few minutes into 1st cycle to see if water is in filling & heating. Didn't know if maybe heating element going out or thermostat not working? Thank you for your time.
