There are two hoses coming from my Bosch SHE45M06UC dishwasher. One is obviously the drain coming from the back of the unit, and the other is attached to the side looped and not connected to anything. I went online to the Bosch website for a installation manual and it describes this hose as a air venting hose. Does the end attach anywhere or does it just hang loose on the unit. My husband detached it from its original position and thought it was part of the water line. HELP!

I am replacing the drain hose on my LG Dishwasher LDS5811BB. The new hose they gave me has an additional piece connected onto the hose. I don't know what it is or what it is for. The original drain hose was composed soley of a gray hose with the to end connectectors. This new hose is similar with an additional white, hard plastic, U-shaped hose with a black hose extending off the end of the U-shaped end. Is this an air gap extension, and if so, what do I connect it to or can I cap it off?

The overflow air drain on top of the sink that is connected to two hoses under the sink is leaking. It leaks out the top onto the counter. I took it abart but am afriad I did not put it back together right. There is a rubber ring that I think must be for sealing and I put it directly on the counter and then screwed down the air valve over this and water s coming out of the air flow valve and all over the counter.

Hi. I have a 3 year old LG dishwasher. It will not drain. Display shows OE. I completely cleaned the drain assembly inside the DW. I checked the discharge line, it is completely clean. I disconnected the drain line from the air vent assembly at the sink and ran the DW, still will not drain. I disconnected the discharge pump wires and ran current directly, the pump works. I replaced the main control PCB, still will not drain. Please advise. Thanks

LG LDF6810ST had OE error. Disassembled found no obstructions blew air through and vacuumed hoses to air gap and to disposer, no obstructions. Never heard pump run when starting cycle, so replaced drain pump. Still doesn't run. Looked at the service manual, and the only other suggestion is repair circuit? Is this the circuit on the bottom right of unit or the pcb up top? Wires and connections all look fine. What else could it be. Any suggestions appreciated!

No noise or anything when the draining or filling should actually be taking place. Hoses are not kinked, no leaks, no air vent, it drains directly to the disposal. Everything seems OK but it is full of water. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
