Having problems with your Campbell Hausfeld PW1805 1800 PSI 15 GPM Pressure Washer ?

I have a washer model 1805 (1800 PSI). Everything works but there is always leaking of water (sprays) when I use it. The leak is not from where the water hose connects to the washer, but where the black piece attached to the hose is connected to the body of the washer. I can still do a decent job of power washing, but am wondering if the leaking of water is reducing the power of the washer.

Answers :

Yes, leaking water will reduce the pressure. Sounds like you need to replace the O-Ring inside the connections on the pump. This is where the pressure hose connects to the pump. If you look carefully inside that connection you will see an O-Ring. Use a tiny flat blade screwdriver to remove it and replace it. You can buy pressure washer repair kits that contain just about all the O-Rings found on a pressure washer or you can buy just one O-Ring at almost any hardware store.
Whether the leak is affecting performance is relative. If whatever water is leaking is being pressurized by the pump, you will lose performance. If you are losing 10% of your water, you are losing 10% of the water that could be washing.
\015\012Look carefully at the location of the leak and get the part or parts that will correct that problem. Additionally, if you ever want to use the washer in a fairly dry location, like a garage, the leak would prevent that from being practical.

Removed rear toe-plate to detect leak. Leak caused by broken drain hose. Hose replaced. To do this the unit was tipped forward onto its front door to allow access to the base area. Water allowed to drain out the front base area. Unit re-assembled but now does not switch on. Water connected. Base-plate dry. No water was detected at upper-front control panel. Power is connected and reaching unit ( multi-meter test ). Tipping the unit forward seems to be the cause. Is there any fuse,

Had the Northstar 3000 psi Pressure Washer for 2 months and it started leaking oil from the pump during use. Took it to Northern and they are replacing the pump under warranty but said it was likely because I was using quick connects on my garden hose coupling and that was restricting the water flow making the pump overheat. They said never to use quick connects on the garden hose unless the opening is at least 5/8". Does anyone make such a quick connect? I hate having to screw the garden hose o

Soap feed The soap feed hose on my Karcher 2650 does not suck up the soap into the washer. I pulled off the connector piece that the hose is connected to. I can blow through the hose. There is a little metal finger thing that you can tell pushes up into place when the water pressure is high. It seems like it is supposed to drop down and allow some soap through when the water is running. I found a loose(attached to nothing) gasket, looks like a little donut. Hi my L G dish washer is coming up with E1 . It comes on after about 2 min it takes water into the washer then it hummes for about 30 seconds then comes up with E1 and pumps water back out. I have checked the hoses which don't appear to be leaking -I read somewhere in your answers about this problem that it could be the Water Level in Drum lowering, this means there is a leak on one of the pipes. More likely it is the Circulation Pump, which is responsible for pushing the water to the Spray

We are having a problem with our LG Dishwasher. The machine is washing for about half an hour and then will stop and report an E1 error. According to the user manual this means "Water leakage in Hose connection" or "Water is leaked by damages". We have checked the diswasher's water connections and can't see any water leaking out. We have also cleaned the filers and checked the spray arms but that has not made any diffrence. Any suggestions what this error means and what we can try to resolve it
