The fuse in the plug keeps blowing. Initially it would run for a while - sometimes 3 or 4 cycles - before blowing. It now blows the fuse the second that I plug in to the socket, even with the on/off button on the front of the dishwasher set to off.I'm keen to take it apart, but it's full of water as it blew mid-cycle. Is there a clever way to empty the machine without the power being on, or do I need bits of hose and sponges?A schematic blow up would also be extremely helpful.

My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?

Are you replacing the wires along with the fuse? It is important to change the wires too as they are usually the cause for the fuse blowing. Be sure and get the fuse kit that includes the wires. \015\012\015\012Is your water too hot? Hot ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

I have a kitchen aid dishwasher model number KUD101TJBLO. I have had the thermal fuse replaced numerous times. It may run two weeks ir it may rub two cycles then the fuse blows. My serviceman has given up on finding a solution. He has replaced the control board and the door switch. However it continues blowing the fuse. I read on the internet that you need to replace the entire wiring kit that comes with the fuse but my repairman says this will not fix the problem and refused to replace the kit.

My Samsung DMR77LHS dishwasher has lost power completely near the end of a cycle. About an inch of water remains. I have power to the unit. I checked the 15 amp fuse in the unit - it had blown. I replaced it, but still no luck. The fuse is not blowing, but there is no power to panel. Nothing happens when you hit the power button - no lights or anything. Unit acts as if ther is no power at all. I have seen similar posts. Any thoughts?

Hi, whenever a fuse of that magnitude, or any fuse really, Blows, you should never just replace it, as to have any device, blow a fuse, trip a breaker, requires a major fault, they do NOT blow spontaneously ever. So you have had a major short circu ... Samsung DMR77LHS Tall Tub Dishwasher

Bosch dishwasher Does not heat up in the washing cycle and does not drain down at the end of the cycle. End of cycle the display sticks at 1 and the drain pump operates until the machine is switched off or reset. Followed the suggestion in another thread to look for a burnt solder joint on the control board. Unfortunately my machine is a later model than the board shown and has no poor joints on the board. It would seem from previous answers that the problem is either the controller, the heating

My SHE4402UC/36 dishwasher malfunctioned all the lights were flashing and the machine was trying to drain. The guy came out and replace the control board. The dishwasher now read 199 on all cycles except the rinse and hold, the santitized light does not come when its done. The repair guy told me the count down timers were flakey on the the Bosch dishwashers and it would learn my dishwashing patterns in time. So 6 cycles later the dishes are still damp at the end of the cycle-the length of the cy

Blowing fuse... We've replaced the overheating fuse located in the control board area about 5 times. It has just blown again after using the dishwaser one time--before it would go about a month before blowing the fuse. It seems to get about a few minutes away from completing the wash cycle and does not complete the draining process. Help!! We don't know what to do next--replacing the fuse is costing about $15 each time, before you know it we could have bought a new one! Thanks for the help. Ti

Tim, this blown fuse issue was pretty common on this model. Whirlpool, which made this model came out with a fuse kit that included a terminal and heavier guage wire to eliminate this problem. It just splices right into the control board, easy job. T ... Kenmore 17024 Built-in Dishwasher

KitchenAid dishwasher: KUDS01FL - I have had to replace the fuse every year and now I can't even get through on cycle with the fuse going. It is now dead again! It almost makes it through the full cycle and then stops (fuse blows)- no power - and there is some water left in the bottom which I have to physically remove. I spent a fortune on repairs every year since I bought it and would like to try to avoid another charge. I appreciate any help that you can offer. Thank you, Carol

I would check the pump. It may be slightly jammed or have debris which is causing it not to fully move or cause it to move very hard popping the breaker. Good Afternoon We have a Kleenmaid DW8 dishwasher. At the beginning of the cycle, it will pump out the water, sit idle for a short time and then show the end light, without washing or any further action. A technician came to visit and had a brief look. A follow up call came from his company stating that the circuit board had a crack in it. It would require a new circuit board ($650), the dishwasher to be taken to the workshop and repaired ($150). Upon further investigation, the circuit board had

My Kitchenaid dishwasher (model KUDS02SRSS0) keeps burning out my dispenser. First I replaced the dispenser, then I replaced the control board and dispenser, it worked for two weeks and now I have a melted solenoid again in my dispenser.
