No water seemes to be entering the machine. It

\015 No water seems to be entering the machine. It had not been used for some 7 months and worked perfectly before then. When switched on everything seems to be functioning with the exception there is no water in the machine. I emptied a bowl of water into the base and it drained perfectly. No other faults seem to be present. Could it be the water inlet valve? If so, is it a DIY replacement or fixable item?\015

Answers :

It could be the inlet valve. that is definitely a DIY job. but first i would check out the float inside the machine. if it is stuck in the up position, no water will enter the machine. it will assume that it is already full of water. look for a small hat or cone on the bottom. make sure that it slides freely up and down. if it was stuck up, you will have just freed it and solved your problem. good luck

I have a Bosch SHU43C. I have a leak it seems to come out from the door. I removed the front panel. Inspected the seal and all seemed smooth and not damaged in any way. So I decided to run the machine. Waited for a few minutes and the water leaked from both corners at the same time. The water settled in the rubber trough under the door. After a few more minutes the water leaked over the trough and onto the foor. Is there to much water entering the machine? What limits the water entering

Water seems to be leaking into the dishwasher at the end of the cycle the water appears to be clean, so I am wondering about a seal of some kind on the hot water line leaking or whatever. It is a Bosch Dishwasher SHU series 3200 My problem is the same. Water leaks in to bottom of dishwasher over about a 2-3 day period. The dishwasher runs fine. It does not ever run over. The water seems to stop entering the dishwasher after it reaches a certain level.

You have a bad water valve. When the unit is off, the valve should seal and the water should not flow. Something has gotten in the valve and is keeping the needle up or the diaphram in the valve has deteriorated. replace the water valve and you wil ... Dishwashers

I think I need to check the water pump/motor on my Bosch SHU43C dishwasher. It seems the water enters at the start of the wash cycle but then there is silence through the remainder of the cycles. Water will not spray. The drain appears to work ok to drain most of the water out. I have the washer out and upside down. Any hints on removing the base to get access to the pump? Should AI be looking at the control panel also for a fault? (the cycles seem to count down ok)
