Checked both leads to element & have power even with machine off. Not sure if it could be the limiting thermostat; I assume that is to shut the heat down when it gets too hot. Element is on though when it shouldn't be to begin with. I did have to tighten the water supply. Had some water underneath, but all wires seemed dry. Any tests I should t

Bosch dishwasher, Model SMU 7056, UC 09, FD 7309. My older unit has operated flawlessly for years. Two days ago it started to "stall" in one cycle and not progress to the next, e.g., stayed in the wash cycle and would not move on to rinse. In addition the heat generated in the machine was way below normal. A repairman told me that if the water doesn't get hot enough, the unit will not move on to the next cycle. I always use the "Regular Wash" option, but tried other options such as 'Economy
