Having problems with your Electrolux Dishwashers ?

Electrolux dishwasher shows code 10 not filling fault and code 20 not draining fault but when running you are able to hear it filling and draining. Whats the problem.?

Answers :

I had the same issue (Electrolux ESF 6251). I had both error codes 10 and 30. I found that the short hose connecting the inlet valve (solenoid) to the tank was cracked. That explained error code 30, but even after replacing the hose I still got error code 10. I checked water supply and also drain hose and filters. I realized that I had recently tried to flush out lime scale and suspect that the drain or pump had lines could have clogged up. I tried pumping into the floor drain inside the dishwasher (removed the filter cartridge and screen) simply with a suction cup like you use in the kitchen sink. Voila. Now it works again...

Bosch SHU43C My Bosch SHU43C is stuck with the drain pump running. I ran the self-test and it gave me the fault code 4 wich indicates a filling fault. The washer is empty and all wash cycles display the correct number of minutes for the cycle. It counts down to 0, but the pump continues to run. Does this indicate a stuck float, or is the problem with the control board? Where is the float located? Are diagrams/pictures available on-line anywhere? I've done some searching, but haven't found any. R

Intake drain flashing - but this time because water is not filling. Checked voltage at controller board - inlet solenoids are getting 120V intermittently. Our Asko 3530 dishwasher is giving us a 'water inlet fault' code. The machine goes through the pre-drain at cycle start then begins to fill, continues until it's full then kicks out the fault code. I have changed the inlet valve, reset the system to factory default and taken off the lower front panel, finding the overflow area to be dry. Is it time to call for service or is there something else to try before spending the big bucks?

Hi,This sounds like either the overflow sensor or the water control valve is stuck.Usually the valve is a solenoid valve that controls the entrance and fill of the water. If the overflow sensor is underneath, there may be wate ... Asko 24 in. D3530FI Built-in Dishwasher

Looking for any suggested solutions, Rick Past Problem: I have the same problem with my 2004 Ultra Wash Model 665...fills with water, sensing light comes, then stops for a second. My Kenmore ultra wash dishwasher fills with a little bit of water but does not spray water and does not proceed through the wash cycle. Any advice? We had problems yesterday with blinking lights and not able to get anything to work except the drain. then we followed a sequence of pushing buttons and it solved the first problem.

The spray arm rotates based on the water pressure coming out of them. If no water pressure, then no rotation. You probably have a clog on the intake hose. You can pull out the dishwasher, tip it forward so you can get to the bottom and then rem ... Kenmore Dishwashers

Bosch slimline dishwasher SRS560. Unit has had this fault for a while, now going a bit mouldy so keen to repair it. Displays following Symptoms 1) Firstly empty motor drains water. I have a Samsung DMR78AHS. I recently had a HE1 error code, which is a heating error code. I followed the manual's troubleshooting steps - I reset the breaker as well as removed the dishes and ran it empty with soap. Now when I run it you can hear it fill and empty, but it does not wash anything... no water is sprayed. Is there anything that can be done to reset this or is it a totally different problem.

LG dishwasher LDS4821BB just started making a new grinding sound while washing. No similar sounds while filling or draining, so I wouldn't think it is the motor assembly like many answers suggest. We installed it March 2009. This sound may be similar to one which led to the motor assembly being replaced while still under warranty about nine months ago. Unfortunately, the LG repairman was too hard of hearing to be able to diagnose that replacement, so he did it based on our description of
