Small crack on booster. Leaking a bit. Can it be fixed without changing the booster itself?

Answers :

The booster is in closed in a plastic container. You can get in your local hardware store a plastic silicon tub specifically to mend the crack. I suggest that you find out why there is a crack. The common reason would be vibration, or during installation the pressure in mounting the booster is not equal to all points. Good Luck

Low Pressure with no hose attached, pressure is good, attach hose without wand and pressure drops 50%. Have had pump apart 10 times, have checked bypass valve, have even removed bypass and filled passage way so water could not bypass wihout any change. Am down to thinking pump casting is cracked allowing bypassing to happen. Does each of the three piston chambers have a check valve so one piston is not pumping back into another piston chamber?

Child Lock light glows without pressing Energy Saver Dry button for four seconds. Cannot turn off by pressing Engery Saver Dry button for four seconds. Turning off main power and turning back on doesn't solve problem. But turning off main power for extented period, over night, and turning back on does fix proble for a very short period but Child Lock does come back on by itself. Is replacing the Console Assembly the only fix? Is there some button sequence to disable Child Lock altogher?

The door has always made a horrible noise that I could not get to go away (I shot some WD40 into all available places). I learned to live with the noise. NOW, the spring on the door has obviously broken. I am afraid someone will open the dishwasher and hurt a small child with the falling door! I see where you addressed the broken spring problem. Do you think I could fix the horrible noise at the same time? Do you think this is something my husband could fix?

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.

I have a KitchenAid drawer dishwasher model kudd01dppa and it has a mind of its own starting and stopping in the middle of the night/day and chiming all different beeps and sounds like its computer is glitching out. We had a service person out and they changed the main computer board and it seemed to fix it for a few days then started again. They gave up. They also tried some sort of reset or reboot but nothing has fixed this intermitten but long term problem. Any ideas?

This crack is very small and cannot be seen until the panel is removed and then full insp

I have an old Bauknecht dishwasher GSF 3160 S that a friend gave us 10 years ago. It was stored for that time, and now if I try to use it, it leaks out through the bottom and floods the kitchen. I would like to know 1) is it worth fixing from the point of view of how energy/water efficient (or inefficient) an old dishwasher is - if you know the specs for this particular machine, and 2) what needs to be changed if it is worthwhile fixing. I don't know what else might not work, because I only pu

Miele dishwasher makes grinding noise when turned on, there is a light on front next to inlet/drain.
