Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel 23 in. DD603H SS Free-standing Dishwasher ?

Fisher & Paykel double dishwasher bottom dishwasher starts to fill with water then a noise comes on and a flashing F2

Answers :

F2 is indicating a fault for the motor. This motor has 2 directional operations. One direction of rotating for spraying water for washing. The other for draining at the end of washing cycle. I don't think it is a problem with the motor, but there is some food clogging up its rotation path causing this issue. Need to take out the bottom stainless steel exposing the motor to clean up. I do this some times. Just need to pay attention to remove and put things back properly. Now if you are not comfortable in doing it, then call F&P serviceman. Don't call any handyman, since without knowledge about this dishwasher a person can do more harm than good and you know who will take care of the bill. Good luck.

My Bosch dishwasher SGS46E26GB/90 makes a knocking noise when started. the timer does not advance and the check water light comes on.There is water in the bottom (up to the bottom of the door) . If I reset the DW the water drains ok. If I mess with the buttons E3 shows on the display the 'quick' light stays on and the eco light flashes. I've checked the filter where the water hose is fastens to the rear. I've cleaned the filters at the bottom of the DW and cleaned out the pump area under them.

My Bosch Classixx (about 10 years old) dishwasher won't fill The problem has only started since I pulled it out and cleaned! The programme sounds are as normal but no water enters the machine. Dishwasher is making a loud grinding noise when it's started. Doesn't matter the cycle choice; the cycle starts as normal then once started up starts making a sort of grinding noise as the water is pulsing, like something is stuck or blocking the "push" of water. I couldn't see anything stuck in the bottom - any thoughts before I call a repair person? I've never owned a dishwasher before - maybe there's a basic drain/blockage thing I should check out first? And, any recommendations for repair

Hi. Our DS603I dishwasher starts on the Rinse cycle on its own - it beeps, red light flashing and no water entering the tub. It does this even if it is open. Similarly, when we try to turn it on to do a normal or heavy cycle, it starts (making quiet a loud noise) and then goes to the Rinse cycle, beeping, red light flashing, no water going into the tub. The pump wheel is turning. We can't find any blockages in the tubes. We have power-cycled it many times. Please help!
