I noticed that the dishes were not getting clean and when I opened the smartdispense cover I could see that the detergent was gelled. I bought this dishwasher 5 years ago and was kept in the box until last month. I installed it, turned on the water and no water is being pumped into the unit from the water release valve in the dishwasher. I then checked all the cycles and everything works except for the pump. Dishwasher only faintly comes on. The detergent compartment opened but, there is a great deal of detergent residue on the inside of the door. Additionally, I removed the "mesh" drain grates from the base of the dishwasher and they are covered with chemical buildup. I was able to remove a good deal of chemical buildup. When the dishwasher would come on before, you could here the cycle start up, you could here the water, etc., now it is very faint, and you can barely hear any sound.

Poor drying, mold building up in the tub. The condensing drying system is not working well. I pulled the unit out and removed a panel on the left side (facing washer). Saw that the plastic box that appears to be set up for moist air removal and vents to the tub had considerable mold in it at the top of one of the passage ways.
