The bottom drawer does not fully drain after cycle

Answers :

Hi there,

Initially for this kind of problem, you must check first this of the FF.;

* Check sink drain and drain hose for restrictions
* Unjam the motor
* Unjam the pump
* Check the drain valve
* Check the drive belt
* Test the timer motor
* If you have a brand new dishwasher or garbage disposer, check the knock out plug on the garbage disposer.

Hope this helps

Both drawers drain fine when operated individually but the top drawer will not drain fully if the bottom drawer is operated at the same time (bottom drawer drains fine in these conditions). I am guessing that this is a setting issue rather than a clog, but what is the mechanism that is tripped when both drawers are cleaning? Perhaps a mother board issue?

We just installed a Fisher & Paykel DD603 dishwasher. Intially it would not drain correctly. And, proceeded to flood the bottom and set off the F1 error code. I dried out the bottom to get the F1 code to stop, which it did. After adjusting the leveling the dishwasher drained both drawers correctly, once. A few minutes after the rinse cycle had finished and the drawers were empty of water the F1 code started again. Now it will not go away unless I unplug the machine. I dried out the bottom very w

Hello, I have a Frigidaire Dishwasher, model FDB750RCC1. It will not fully drain. There is water in the bottom of the unit after the cycle is complete. As it is not full of water or leaking out of the unit when I open the door I am suspecting it is the pump that has broken? (the water must be draining to the overflow point and then stopping as there is nothing pumping it) Any thoughts or ideas for me anyone? Am I on the right track?

After working perfectly for years, I came home yesterday and the dishwasher had gone through it's whole cycle (including drying) but the bottom was fully filled with water. I emptied the dishwasher and tried to put it through a "rinse and hold" cycle to see if it would drain, but that didn't work. I pulled out the filter--it's clean as a whistle. Any thoughts? PLEASE?? thanks!

GE GHDA485N 10CS Dishwasher that has standing water in the bottom after the cycle completes. I pulled it out and reconnected power and ran a rinse cycle. I could see that water was pumping out the clear drain pipe but there was still about an inch of standing water in the bottom. Any thoughts as to what part has failed. Does the system use a water level switch or a timed drain cycle to determine when the water has pumped out. If it is a timed cycle could a slow drain cause the problem. Thank you

I received a second-hand as-is Akso D3530 (model #107353001) dishwasher. It washes perfectly fine, but at the end of the cycle, it keeps running. It does not seem to be the drain that is running, but rather the circulating pump. I have fully emptied the pan of water (there was only a little in it (you couldn't see it until you removed the sieve) using a turkey baster and it keeps running. I also checked the float sensor in the bottom. The float sensor is not tripped, and when I manually trip it,

Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard - will not drain at end of cycle. After cycle is complete, water (not clean) sits at the bottom of the washer but I still unload the dishes and then turn the cycle dial around again - going past all the water heating and filling and washing - and land on the drain cycle, it will drain. The top drawer on our dishdrawers makes a clicking kind of noise for about the first 2 - 5 mins of being on. Then goes fine with the occassional clicking noise during the cycle. It is slightly noisier than the bottom drawer. When the cycle is finished there is a couple of inches of water left in the bottom, so the dishes don't dry properly. The bottom drawer works really well with no problems at all. What do you suggest?
