Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel 23 in. DD-603 Built-in Dishwasher ?

I have a single draw Fisher and Paykel dishwasher. I stupidly put washing up liquid in the dishwasher which resulted in a F1 problem. Water started leaking under the draw and onto my floor. I turned the dishwasher off at the power point and have cleaned up the leak. Have I damaged my dish washer? How do I fix it?

Answers :

Ok , F1 means your flood switch has activated, which is underneath the drawer. now they show the F1 fault because of 2 reasons.1st there is still water underneath drawer causing switch to activate. 2nd your activator board which has the flood switch attached is faulty reading your posting it has been about 15 days since the fault happened. the water should have dryed around switch by now. if there is power to the unit and it is still coming up with F1 fault then possibly you have damaged the activator board. please reply and tell me if you have power on or off at the present time. to fix the problem it is alittle bit involved but i can guide you thru it when you reply .good luck

Our Kemore dishwasher is leaking water onto floor, and the water valve continues to pour water when machine was turned off, but is not leaking water now. There is also standing water at bottom of tub from running machine last night. Can I test to see if it is fill valve or the overfill float? Are these easily replaced?

I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

This is probably the line that goes from the water inlet valve on the bottom of the dishwasher up to the valve leading into the dishwasher itself. It is probably a black corrugated rubber line. This is an extremely bad design, but the solution is s ... Frigidaire 24 in. PLD2850 Built-in Dishwasher

Have a Westinghouse 905 dishwasher (guessing approx 5-10yrs old). When I turn it on it's starts is cycle as expected then stops after about 10mins and loses all power (can't turn it on or get any lights to light up for sometime almost like it needs to cool down) at this point the dishwasher is full of water. It is not the pump however as as soon as you can get power to it (sometimes some hours later) and turn it on the first thing it does is pump out the water. Any ideas??

It is likely the thermal relay is tripping. This could be because if you are feeding hot water to inlet the temperature of water is too high, or the dishwasher heater is faulty and overheating the water. Or it is also possible the thermal cutout is s ... Westinghouse Dishwashers

The dishwasher pump sounds like it is trying to drain, even when the stop button is pressed and the door is opened. The only thing that stops it is turning the power off at the power point. However, when the power is turned on the pump continues. The wash cycle icon flashes, but the usual cycle indicator is not lit at all. The dishwasher will not commence a new cycle.

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.

I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher (2004) and recently it has been leaking internally at a very slow pace. When not in use it will slowly fill until the floor of the unit is filled and then leak onto the kitchen floor unless we press the drain button and then it drains completely. The water seems to be coming from the front of the washer, potentially from the door itself. The amount of leakage is barely discernible but will fill over the course of a 24 hour period. Leaky Dishwasher I recently moved into a new house that has a brand new Magic Chef dishwasher. We haven't even had a chance to use it, but last night discovered water leaking from the bottom onto the floor. When I opened the door, there was about 3-4 inches of water inside. I baled as much of the (slimey) water out as I could, and that stopped the leak. Now afraid to run the dishwasher for fear that it might leak even worse. E71195 Type 777-0
