Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel 23 in. DD-603SS Built-in Dishwasher ?

Won't begin the wash cycle, just continuously drains and fills.

\015 Dual drawer unit. Bottom unit functions properly. Top unit starts and fills, then drains, then fills, then drains and repeats this cycle indefinately. The time counter only counts down one minute and does this in any mode. So if it starts at 115 min it only goes to 114 and will stick there for hours if I do not intervene. This happened about a year ago and I unplugged it for an hour or so and it started working again. This time, no luck. What causes this problem?\015

Answers :

Have you tried pulling out the motor rotor and checking for anything stuck under it? try swapping it with the other drawer. If it still won't go you need to swap over the motor controllers between the two drawers if the fault moves you need a new Motor controller module. Cheers
Hi avcsvb,
I have this same problem. Did this solution really work or was there some other underlying problem?
Cheers

My dishwasher skips the final drain cycle. The lines are all clean and there is no clog. It drains just fine in the beginning of the wash cycle. Every time I do a load of dishes I have to run the full cycle, then leave the machine open for 3-4 hours and start the cycle again and listen for the drain at the beginning of the wash to drain the machine from the initial wash and stop the machine after it is done draining so it won't fill up again. Sometimes we have to unplug it and wait about an hour

When dishwasher is set to begin, sensor takes very long period of time. Cycles are longer than minutes indicated. Dishwasher fills with water but does not wash. Water then drains as though cycle is complete and moves to next cycle. Then the process continues. When cycle for drying is reached, much heat is given and occasionally it smells as though there is burning. A 82 minute procedure turns into hours.

We also removed the hose from the machine as it had split and replaced it and we had the machine tilted on it's side. the dial still clicks round but it sounds like the pump is going and it doesn't seem to be filling with water. When starting a wash cycle it pumps out the remaining water as usual. It fills normally but does not pump/wash the dishes. It continues to heat and when first noticed it seemed to have gone through the complete cycle but didn't wash. The detergent door had opened and the soap pack dropped out but it never dissolved. The dishes were extremely hot too. Is the same pump used to both drain the washer and wash the dishes?

I have a bosch SHE58C dishwasher. The cycles all work, it fills so the water line is ok, it washes, and it drains so it is not clogged. I cleaned out the sump and it is all clear. Is there a way to reset the "brain"? I've tried killing the circuit breaker

The diswasher will drain completely after the drain cycle is completed. It will then immediately begin to fill again despite no additional cycles being requested. I can hear the fill cycle begin. I can prevent the filling by opening the door slightly or by moving the float plunger up and away from the microswitch that signals to fill the bottom of the washer with water. Is there an adjustment on the float or on the length of the float plunger?

I have a kenmore Ultra Wash Dishwasher, Model 15825691. We were recently hit by lighting. Once hit, the dishwasher started up. Since then, all cycles work, however, at the end of any cycle, the dishwasher continues to run and fill the bottom of the washer up to about two inches and then cuts off, so when we open the washer, there is approx 2 inches of water inside no matter what. Bosch SHU43C My Bosch SHU43C is stuck with the drain pump running. I ran the self-test and it gave me the fault code 4 wich indicates a filling fault. The washer is empty and all wash cycles display the correct number of minutes for the cycle. It counts down to 0, but the pump continues to run.
