Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel 23 in. DD-603SS Built-in Dishwasher ?

My DD603 was leaking (both top and bottom) and I went to this web site and the person recommended changing the Lid Actuators which stopped the leaking for about one month. Now each time I run the dishwasher I get about 1-2 quarts of water on the floor. After reading the number of dissatisfied customers should I just buy a new dishwasher or keep chasing the all the problems associated with the DD-603?

Answers :

In my honest opinion I would just buy a new one. I would say the same thing to change the lid actuators agian. Iam sure it would stop like before and then return later. It may be more cost effective time wise to just replace the unit. Sorry bbest of luck

My dishwasher is not cleaning dishes... The cycles work but the dishes do not get clean an sometimes are more dirty if that is possible. I have tried adding jet dry and extra cleaning liquid but get no results. Also there are times that the bottom of the washer fills with water unexpectedly and will even leak on to the floor. It doesn't leak when the dishwasher is running... I just don't know what to do other than clean out the spray arms. Please help.

How can I shut off the water supply to the dishwasher? It fills slowly with water from the top (while not running), and then water spills out over the kitchen floor. By pressing the 'Drain' button, the water will drain out, but I have to get to it before it floods. It takes about 4 hours for it to get to the overflow stage. It is a Jennair model, about 9 years old. We have a lot of limescale, it is probably time to replace it, but for the moment my main concern is to stop the leak. Thank you for

I noticed water leaking underneath my dishwasher through the floor joists to my basement. It was a small but steady drip through the joists. I turned off the water to the dishwasher and the leak stopped. I looked inside the dishwasher and there is still some standing water inside the dishwasher, but I cannot see anywhere that water is standing under the dishwasher. I am wondering if the leak is at the pump or at the door? But I see no evidence of the seal leaking.

This is probably the line that goes from the water inlet valve on the bottom of the dishwasher up to the valve leading into the dishwasher itself. It is probably a black corrugated rubber line. This is an extremely bad design, but the solution is s ... Frigidaire 24 in. PLD2850 Built-in Dishwasher

Leaking Dishwasher seems to be leaking. Otherwise it's performing fine. I have laminate floors, and there are water seeping out along the seams of the flooring area near the dishwasher. The dishwasher is captured by the floor (dishwasher was installed first then floor was put in at 1/2" higher level), so we can't pull it out to check where the leak is coming from. Can dishwasher be repaired from the inside w/out removing it from where it is? Only way to pull it out seem to be cutting a part of

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.

Leaky Dishwasher I recently moved into a new house that has a brand new Magic Chef dishwasher. We haven't even had a chance to use it, but last night discovered water leaking from the bottom onto the floor. When I opened the door, there was about 3-4 inches of water inside. I baled as much of the (slimey) water out as I could, and that stopped the leak. Now afraid to run the dishwasher for fear that it might leak even worse. E71195 Type 777-0

Leaking dishwasher There is standing water in the dishwasher when it's not being used. Recently we had a garbage disposal installed and was wondering whether this may cause the water from the sink to settle in the dishwasher. Also, the water rises and leaks on the floor. No water out of the front of machine, seems to be coming from below. Take panel off and inspect connections? How about line from sink? Is there a site with illustrations or video repair about this specific problem out there? Any help is greatly appreciated...

Dishwasher I am getting a run around with getting my LG dishwasher fixed properly. We had a tech more than once come in and look at our dishwasher. It has not been fixed and never dried the dishes properly. It is now leaking and going to a "del" level when we attempt to wash the dishes. It is also leaking on our fairly new tiled floor and under our new kitchen cabinet. Your tech stated the dishwasher was not installed properly. The installation dept , Francine stated it is not their problem

Door leak The dishwasher is 2 and half year old and is randomly leaking for at least one year or even more. The leak originally occurred at both lower ends of the door, close to the hinges. The leak was about one liter and the door panel sound insulation soaked with water. After door panel was removed, the leak location was identified at both ends of the lower door gasket. The outside part of the U-shaped gasket was filled with water, and eventually water was spilled on the floor. The leak can g

Whirlpool DU1101 Hello, My Whirlpool DU1100 is only 1 year old. The dishes are dirtu and the soap doesn't disolve completely My husband is convinvced it is low water pressure, primarily from a leak in the sprinkler system in the park behind our house. I think it is just a clog of some kind preventing the water from getting into the dishwasher fill and/or spray arms. The maunual says you need 20 120 PS to run the dishwasher I doubt it is below 20 PS because of a leak in the park. Is there anyway

I have a Kenmore Elite dishwasher (2004) and recently it has been leaking internally at a very slow pace. When not in use it will slowly fill until the floor of the unit is filled and then leak onto the kitchen floor unless we press the drain button and then it drains completely. The water seems to be coming from the front of the washer, potentially from the door itself. The amount of leakage is barely discernible but will fill over the course of a 24 hour period.
