Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel 23 in. DD-603SS Built-in Dishwasher ?
My DD603 is flooding onto the floor and F1 is flashing/not turning off.
You have probably figured out by now that the only way to stop it is to unplug it. The F1 code means that the Mains Filter flood sensor has been activated. There are a few reasons this may occur. 1. there was a large pan or dish that prevented the lid from closing fully, thus flooding. 2. the lid actuators, motors, did not close the lid completely and they need replacing. 3. the Link Support (holds the wires and hoses in place behind the drawer) has broken and is impeding the lid from closing fully. It and the lid would have to be replaced. These are the normal causes for the F1 error code. You will need to get a Tech out to have a look to determine the cause. Good luck.

I've had a Miele G892 SCU PLUS dishwasher for a long time. Today a problem started that results in a flooded floor. Water keeps flowing into the dishwasher - even when the unit is turned off. It seeps in very slowly, but within15 minutes there is enough to overflow & flood the floor. My guess is that there must be some kind of sensor that isn't working, or the coresponding mechanical switch that shuts off the water is worn or slightly stuck open a bit? Anything I can do / check, short of the re

Dishwasher flooding Hi my Asko D1716 Super Cleaning System Dishwasher has started to have a flooding problem. When the cycle finished last night it seemed fine then in the morning the machine was full of water, I scooped out the water and by this evening the machine had flooded onto the kitchen floor. I tried other solutions I found on this website but they didn't suit my dishwasher as it doesn't have the appropriate buttons. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Water flooding onto floor when running.
The most common cause of this is a loose clamp on the pump discharge hose. It could also be a cracked hose, the hose came off (again, loose clamp). Our Miele DW just keeps going through cycles constantly and will not shut off on its own. It has gone all day. When we turned the dial manually to "OFF", the water keeps filling until it overflows the machine onto the floor. So far, our only option has been to turn the machine back on and let it keep running. Any suggestions?

I have a single draw Fisher and Paykel dishwasher. I stupidly put washing up liquid in the dishwasher which resulted in a F1 problem. Water started leaking under the draw and onto my floor. I turned the dishwasher off at the power point and have cleaned up the leak. Have I damaged my dish washer? How do I fix it?
Ok , F1 means your flood switch has activated, which is underneath the drawer. now they show the F1 fault because of 2 reasons.1st there is still water underneath drawer causing switch to activate. 2nd your activator board which has the flood switch ... Our Kemore dishwasher is leaking water onto floor, and the water valve continues to pour water when machine was turned off, but is not leaking water now. There is also standing water at bottom of tub from running machine last night. Can I test to see if it is fill valve or the overfill float? Are these easily replaced?

I recently had the e4 error code on my new world dw60 dishwasher. I have since opened it up and replaced the heater element, which appears to have resolved that issue. However, in the process of doing this I incorrectly installed the flood switch back into place, meaning that it was in its closed position (i.e. the position it would be when activated by a flooded base) when I went to turn the dishwasher back on. I have since opened it back up and correctly installed the flood switch, but I ca

Our KitchenAid KUDS011JBS1 dishwasher sometimes leaks water on our kitchen floor. It seems to drip from the bottom edge of the door onto the floor. It's not a huge amount of water, but is enough to be a concern... it leaves a small puddle on the floor. What should I check and how do I fix this? I'm hoping it's an inexpensive and easy fix. Note that we've had this dishwasher for 8 years and have only noticed leaking during the past 6 months.
