Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel 24 in. DD603H W Built-in Dishwasher ?

I have a DD601 v2, the bottom draw starts up and pumps water in then pumps it out again immediately. No error codes are showing, it just shows the cycle time remaining but doesn't decrease from its start time.

Answers :

I am assuming the drawer is showing this behaviour repeatedly even after your start fresh with power turned off and back on.
\015\012
\015\012Are you able to see any different behaviour with the shorter cycles in ECO mode?
\015\012
\015\012What you have explained is that the water inlet valve operates and lets water in when you start a cycle. However, the motor starts draining the water out immediately and lthe dishwasher just freezes with the cycle time displaying on the LCD panel.
\015\012
\015\012The question is whether the draining starts as soon as the water gets in or does it wait until the inlet valve stops. Is the detergent compartment empty at this time?
\015\012
\015\012I will assume the top drawer is functioning normally.
\015\012
\015\012Please post a comment with your observations and I will try to find likely causes for the problem. It is a reasonably old model but some parts are still available.

Kenmore dishwasher 16934 will not start up for me. I can push any button to set the cycle(pots & pans, china gentle, quick rinse, normal wash) and the time shows up in the display, but when I push the start, two red horizontal lines appear in the time remaining display. Cannot get the machine to start anything. All cycle buttons give me some kind of time remaining display but as I said, it ends up with 2 red lines. Thanks in advance. Mark

Fagor lf-017s Hi, my fagor dish washer is showing an f3 alarm. f3 shows as a flood or not draining alarm in my booklet. However there is no remaining water inside the dishwasher. I have removed the dishwasher and checked the pump which is fine. The pump is running at the start of each cycle until thr f3 alarm steps in. Any ideas why the machine is still asking to drain when there is no water inside?

I have a Gallery 900 series GLDB958AS dishwasher. The cycle status lights (just right of the "time remaining" status window) continually blink. None of the buttons on the front panel work and every 10 minutes or so the water pump starts up for about a minute then shuts off. No water enters the dishwasher. I tried turning the power off then on but there is no change. Every so often a random cycle light will blink or light up for a minute, then turns off.

Only about 1/2 the amount of water is let in when the pump turns on and the washing cycle begins. Opening the door shows that the water level does not reach the bottom of the float. My Miele G641 displays the Salt PC light even after filling it with salt. I have to cycle the main power switch 3 or 4 times before the Start light will come on. Then when I press the Start button it momentarily pumps out water and then stops. I then have to re-set the power switch. How do I tell if the logic board is fried?

Hi. Our DS603I dishwasher starts on the Rinse cycle on its own - it beeps, red light flashing and no water entering the tub. It does this even if it is open. Similarly, when we try to turn it on to do a normal or heavy cycle, it starts (making quiet a loud noise) and then goes to the Rinse cycle, beeping, red light flashing, no water going into the tub. The pump wheel is turning. We can't find any blockages in the tubes. We have power-cycled it many times. Please help!

When starting a wash cycle it pumps out the remaining water as usual. It fills normally but does not pump/wash the dishes. It continues to heat and when first noticed it seemed to have gone through the complete cycle but didn't wash. The detergent door had opened and the soap pack dropped out but it never dissolved. The dishes were extremely hot too. Is the same pump used to both drain the washer and wash the dishes?
