Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel 24 in. DD-602 Built-in Dishwasher ?

Hi, I've got a Fisher & Paykel DD603i which is very nearly 3 years old. The top drawer runs through its cycle and end with a continuous beeping, and some water left in the drwaer, although the dishes seem to be cleaned OK. I have folowed step 2 on page 7 of the manual as described in your response to a similar-ish problem, but didn't completely remove the drawer (as I wasn't sure how to get the clear plastic cover on the electrics underneath). However, at this point I had already disconnected t

Hi,

Does it show Error U1 on the display. If yes, follow the below. I am hate to say, however user manual does not contain all the details. If that would have been the case, there is never a need to service manuals, bulletins or even tech's . I am sure you would agree.

Now, lets get back to the problem.

U1 on a fisher and paykel is a water pressure problem. Make sure you have good water pressure to the dishwasher. If that is OK, i would change the water valve. It could be a kinked fill hose in the machine, however i am sure you must have done normal simple troubleshooting

Check and get back to me.

Good Luck!!

Thanks!!.
Hi.

If water gets drained completely, and when the machine stops the cycle beeping, then the problem is likely the pressure switch.

The pressure switch is located at the base of the tub. The function of this sensor is detecting water level. If the pressure switch is faulty, the timer board will not detect that drain is complete, and even if there is no more water in the tub, you will get the control board beeping because of a long drain error.

I have a F and P 603 dishwasher with a similar problem as to a recent post here. My top drawer doesn't turn on and my bottom drawer does. Well it just has after I swapped the "blue" motor inside from my top one. Now, I have tried and opened as far as the translucent "X" plastic from the bottom of my bottom drawer showing the motor and it looks fine. I have even swapped the control board from my top drawer to try and see if it works and it actually does. So, problem persists. Top drawer do

I have an Asko 1585 dishwasher. It drops the inlet valve on step (step 12), and the recirculation pump (next step) tries to pump with no water. Later at about step 47, the inlet valve begins to work again and the dishwasher finishes the cycle without a problem. I have had the board checked, and all of the power supply and transfer circuits are good. That leaves the processor. Is there any combination of buttons to press which can completely reset the controller board?

3 problems: 1. lower drawer is hard to close; seems to be sticking on something. 2. lower drawer retains water (2 inches) after completing a cycle. 3. F1 fault code on both drawers with alert occurred when washers were not in use. I had to turn off the electric circuit breaker to make it stop.

Ok where to start, first thing the bottom draw is hard to close because they use 2 little motors on either side to pull a lid with a seal on it down on top of each draw when u start it to keep the water in, if its hard to close the motors are damaged ... Dish washer does not drain after the cycle is complete. The last few months when the dishwasher is done their would be a small amount of water left in the bottom. It didnt create any problems but would smell after a few days. So we would just run the drain cycle and it would empty. Well i got home to and the wife said the it was really full. The water was dirty and when you run the drain cycle it didnt drain. She said the dishes were clean. So i cleaned the vent, and filled the sink with

DD603 upper drawer pump rotor will not turn - F2 error. Was completely siezed. Removed rotor and got the shaft to turn with pliers. However it does not spin freely and still shows an F2 error. Does anyone have a repair manual so I can figure out how to remove the pump? Lower drawer had an F1 error (due to the upper leaking/F2 error) and this website helped me fix that problem.

One of my drawers is not draining completely all of a sudden... Recently, the unit started making a grinding sound during one of its cycles. Now, it doesn't drain completely. I took out the filter plate with motor assembly and found that the underside was a bit chewed up. Not sure if this could cause the draining problem. Any thoughts?

I have a fisher & Pakel dishwasher and it appears to have brown a fuse inside the machine which means it does not work at all and the problem occurred during the wash cycle. This means the seal (which is a top piece that's lifted and lowered by two motors. When the seal is in the lowered position it creates a complete seal but it also locks the drawer (single drawer dishwasher) so it cannot be pulled out. I repaired the dishwasher two years ago. I have a Baumatic BDW 45.1 slimline dishwasher, the unit will power on but I cannot select a program. I was able to place the unit in to reset mode once by holding down 'P' and power cycling the unit. This then allowed me to choose a program and complete a full wash cycle. Now I cannot repeat this steps and the unit remains with just power light on. There are no Error codes displayed at all. Could this be a problem with the front panel?

The dishwasher does not complete a cycle. It starts the cycle just fine but then it stops after one minute. It seems like it gets stuck and won't move to the next step. I do hear a slight clicking noise similar to a clock ticking, like its trying to move on, but then it stops. It clicks three times. When I open the door the "fine china" light is on even though I set it on "normal". Is there a "re-set" button?

I have a similar problem to another person. The drain on the dish drawer was blocked. The unit now shows an F1 error code ( flood?) and the pump runs continuously even after I've unblocked everything. I've tried switching it off for ages and drying everything out. When I switch it on again it shows the wash programme but then reverts to F1 and the pump motor runs continuously. Any ideas to cancel the F1 code?

What does the small white plastic tube attached to the drain hose and wiring harness accomplish? I have been having an F1 problem with both draws, have just found this tube in the top drawer harness (beneath the drawer)severed; could this be contributing to the problem?
