Having problems with your Fisher and Paykel Dishwashers ?

Hi our nemo dishwasher starts a cycle and fills but does not start cleaning cycle. Light under start button flashes. If start button is held on it resets and pumps out. We live in an area with high clacium in water. At first the machine only pumped out and did not start filling. I have cleaned the level sensor ( membrane switch filled with calcium) and it at least stopped pumping and started to fill. It does not proceed from here. I checked the level switch it seems to be working OK (NO and NC c

Hi.

You need to move the appliance and check the height of the drain hose. If there is water in the tub you may have a syphoning problem (water refluxing in the tub) because of incorrect height of the drain hose elbow.

The led that is on before resetting by pressing start may tell us more on the problem. Please tell me what led from left is ON, and tell me the complete model number.

If the led on is the last one on the right, then flood switch came on. If it is the third from right, then there is a problem with heating system.

DU1145XTP The buttons don't all work--for a while the normal wash and heated dry were the only functions that worked--now the start button doesn't work. I took the panel off and clicked the door switch and held it and got all the cycle buttons to light up except rinse only and only heated dry in the cycles would light up. The delay buttons don't work and neither does start. Also the panel seems hot.

Maytag 24 in. MDB8951AWS intermittent button problems and incomplete wash cycle. The buttons work sometimes ... sometimes not. We also have experienced incomplete wash cycles when the buttons do let us start a cycle. Sometimes it completes correctly. Suspect control board, as I expect a membrane failure to cause incomplete cycle unless it is making a Stop/Cancel contact by itself. Can anyone chime in on thoughts?

My Miele G641 displays the Salt PC light even after filling it with salt. I have to cycle the main power switch 3 or 4 times before the Start light will come on. Then when I press the Start button it momentarily pumps out water and then stops. Sometimes the Start light stays on and I can get it to give the pump another brief spurt, but often the Salt/PC light comes on again and the Start light goes out. I then have to re-set the power switch. How do I tell if the logic board is fried?

GU1500XTLS3 Periodically won't start. Dishwasher has power because pressing cancel causes dishwasher to start draining (even though there is no water). Door switch works because opening door prevents starting drain cycle. No other button on control panel will work except for the 'air dry' / 'lockout' button. Turning off circuit breaker for 15-30 minutes and then turning circuit breaker back on seems to fix the problems but only for a couple uses and then it stops working again. Need ad

This could be the 'fill switch', which is the level sensor. Could be a plastic tube that exerts air pressure into the tube as it fills, make sure it's clear and open. The dishwasher has a sensor that monitors the door being closed too. Some use a hig ... Dishwashers

Normal wash cycle- tub fills (?), then comes a loud hummmm and nothing happens. I noticed water level didn't reach heater coil and added water until limiter switch clicked. Still just a loud hummmm. Machine was well into its regular cycle when this first occurred, but now, won't even get past initial fill. Pushing the "Cancel/drain" button activates motor and pump: they work fine.
