Hotpoint Dishwasher BF1620 blew the main fuse circuit in fuse box during mid cycle wash? Re-set main power fuse circuit but now as soon as Dishwasher switched on immediately blows main kitchen power fuse in fuse box? What is problem?

The fuse in the plug keeps blowing. Initially it would run for a while - sometimes 3 or 4 cycles - before blowing. It now blows the fuse the second that I plug in to the socket, even with the on/off button on the front of the dishwasher set to off.I'm keen to take it apart, but it's full of water as it blew mid-cycle. Is there a clever way to empty the machine without the power being on, or do I need bits of hose and sponges?A schematic blow up would also be extremely helpful.

Lower the outlet hose into a washing up bowl, it should then Drain. Check the heater to see if it is earthing you get to it by removing the right hand side panel. ... Hotpoint 24 in. FDW60 Free-standing Dishwasher

I have a kitchen aid dishwasher model number KUD101TJBLO. I have had the thermal fuse replaced numerous times. It may run two weeks ir it may rub two cycles then the fuse blows. My serviceman has given up on finding a solution. He has replaced the control board and the door switch. However it continues blowing the fuse. I read on the internet that you need to replace the entire wiring kit that comes with the fuse but my repairman says this will not fix the problem and refused to replace the kit.

ZANUSSI DA6141 Dishwasher Stops about 10min in, and it blows the fuse in the plug, open the door and water is hot, I change the fuse and set it on drain and it drains ok. I looked at the On/Off Switch it appeared to be discoloured so I ordered a new one changed it with no problem but the dishwasher stopped at exactly the same point (I know this as I marked the dial) Any help would be great thanks Nick

We have an Hotpoint FDW70 Dishwasher that for some time has had an A10 fault which although stops the machine some times 70% of the time it does a full cycle. However it is now tripping out the electric at the mains. It is not RCD protected, but does not blow it's own 13amp fuse or that of the fused extention lead it is pluged in to. Tends to blow after about 5 minutes. I know about the fault code A10 being 'Fill Valve Triac' but as not an engineer what is that? and what parts are needed and or

My Whirlpool GU2400XTP dishwasher keeps blowing the fuse. It sat up for 6months because the control panel went out and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Finally replaced the panel and the thermal fuse blew during the first wash cycle. I tried to put a 15AMP fuse in it's place to check it out before I bought a new thermal fuse and it too blew during the first cycle. Any ideas?

Are you replacing the wires along with the fuse? It is important to change the wires too as they are usually the cause for the fuse blowing. Be sure and get the fuse kit that includes the wires. \015\012\015\012Is your water too hot? Hot ... Whirlpool GU2400XTP Built-in Dishwasher

KitchenAid dishwasher: KUDS01FL - I have had to replace the fuse every year and now I can't even get through on cycle with the fuse going. It is now dead again! It almost makes it through the full cycle and then stops (fuse blows)- no power - and there is some water left in the bottom which I have to physically remove. I spent a fortune on repairs every year since I bought it and would like to try to avoid another charge. I appreciate any help that you can offer. Thank you, Carol

I would check the pump. It may be slightly jammed or have debris which is causing it not to fully move or cause it to move very hard popping the breaker. My Samsung DMR77LHS dishwasher has lost power completely near the end of a cycle. About an inch of water remains. I have power to the unit. I checked the 15 amp fuse in the unit - it had blown. I replaced it, but still no luck. The fuse is not blowing, but there is no power to panel. Nothing happens when you hit the power button - no lights or anything. Unit acts as if ther is no power at all. I have seen similar posts. Any thoughts?
