F&P DS603I Leaking with no faults or alarms

\015 We have a single DS603I which has been faultless and a great appliance for many years.\015\012Recently it leaked onto the floor - there were no alarms or faults and it happily completed it's cycle.\015\012I thought I found the problem and cleaned a little soap residue from the lid seals and sealing surface on the top edge of the drawer (probably there as a result of recently using Eco brand powder - so much for trying to help protect the environment!) I also replaced the rotor as per the recall instructions. All went well with no more leaks ...for a few days. We have another puddle on the floor, again, with no alarms or faults. Water appears to be leaking at the lid - there are drips at high level inside the drawer cavity.Have now stopped using until the problem can be sorted. \015\012Can you suggest the next step? Can the seals and lid motors be easily tested?\015\012Cheers, Steve (from Dunedin, the Home of Dishdrawers!)\015

Hello Steve, Just saw your enquiry. Not sure if you have found the source of the problem by now. You are in F&P teritorry so should not be difficult to fix. I have a double drawer DD601 for nearly 10 years and I keep it running - recently had to replace some wires on the lid seal system on one drawer as these had cracked with age.
\012I don't have much experience with the single drawer units But it is very unsual not to have alarm F1 given the type of leak you are noticing. I am leaning towards the leak coming from the plumbing outside the dishwasher. Inlet hose or outlet hose under kitchen bench. You can check the seals and lid motor in diagnostic mode but this is not for the faint hearted as one can damage components if wrong command is given in particular heater and pump rotor. First thing to check is whether there is no physical damage to the seal. Slide your open palm along the housing inside with drawer fully extended. If you notice any cuts or undulations in the rubber then there is a problem with seal and needs replacing. Try to slowly pull out the drawer after starting the dishwasher. It should not come out easily if the seal motors are working. Not sure how easy it is to take the drawer out with Integrated unit. If you can take the drawer out to check water collection on base then that would tell you something. But make sure the mains power is off first. Send me a post. Sam the ozzie.

We have an LG dishwasher LD14AT1 P/No 3850ED3005R. It kept signalling an error to do with a leak- all hoses etc were checked, one relaced but no fault was found, so we had a repair man come out and he repalced the electronic board at a cost of $200.00. The error still kept signalling (by the dinging sound). It was then discovered that the appliance had rusted and there was in fact a leak in the base of the machine, not a fault in the electronics. The machine has just remained idle since. I belie
